Poole or Glasgow will have Cairns in June on a 2 who will end with a 5+. Whichever team gets him will win play offs. Only need to run 4 matches till then so the starting number 7 will be a throwaway. Makes sense therefore to use all other points on top six.
IPO to win 48-42. Even with the guests they are still 4.5 points ave above Brum. Two of the best visiting riders guesting, will be tough for Brum to stop the run of defeats.
Hard to agree with the feel sorry for Tolley bit. He signed the team, he has asked them to race against teams with a combined average advantage of over 7 points and today v Kings Lynn 3 points, and no surprise they lost by 3. The riders face every meeting at a -7 (belle vue was -10. Pawlicki should have gone when Freddie came, the guess who for the sack lasting 2 weeks was poor. Riders are beat before they arrive and the track prep is crap, but keep it consistently crap to give the team a chance. Trying something different each week makes it worse and helps the away team.
Nigel needs to set a budget, step back and let Peter / Chris Adam’s pick, sign, and run the team next year and Nigel enjoy himself as owner and watcher. Drop Sam and Lawrence, no blame but not needed.
A fresh start required
Charles Wright locked up and turned LEFT to try to go inside of Scott and ran into his back wheel. Scott did not fence Wright and if he wanted to could have carried on around Scott. I remember at Redcar last year when Charles shut off on bend 3 last lap and Steve Worrall was going for a gap that disappeared and Charles went down and Steve was excluded, exactly the same scenario but different decision .
The rules are clear, heat wins, 2nd, 3rds 4ths, none finish, head to head, f not clear, go standing. Correct decision, just why complicate things by dragging it out. There is no rule for how many head to heads, so at least one each means gp standing, sorted in 10 seconds. Clowns in charge and Kelvin is getting worse on comms.
