  1. The refs decision is consistent with many other decisions made during racing incidents and non incidents. Let me explain. Last night Ben ran into Jye and crashed and was therefore the cause of the stoppage. Straight forward and as per the rules and not controversial. However the root cause of the crash was Jye pulling a locker. I have seen many occasions when a rider in front gets into trouble, clearly impedes the rider behinds race but never gets pulled up if no crash. There was a Worky v Scunthorpe mtg and one of the Comets was all over the place and nearly took out Steve Worrall. Luckily Worralls experience avoided a crash, but left him stone last whilst the Comet on the bucking bronco continued. At Berwick 2 weeks ago Reid Battye reared on the back straight, caught the fence and bounced across the track hitting teammate Palovaara and Workys Jeppersen ending the Danes race. Battye still won the race, but he impeded an opponent and went un punished. The root cause of incidents should be targeted not the outcome.

  3. When he has a moment to reflect Richard Coleman should start with track prep. However, he needs to be honest and start with he needs to ensure riders have a surface to perform on to create a spectacle every time at every level in the sport. I worry though that he may be oblivious to how good the sport could be as one of the consistently poor tracks this year has actually been Ipswich, his own track and no lessons seem to have been learnt there, so I wouldn’t hold my breath. On a good day there is nothing to compete with a good speedway meeting but a close tussle at the top or a close team meeting is not enough to drag punters back.
  4. Will Saturday v Berwick be called off due to a footy match in Miami
  5. How about Lassa Fredricksen instead of Simon Lambert.
  6. Same Olly the wally who chose not to use his reserve in Son 2 in Prague until it was too late.
  7. As it was Grand Prix will Jack have to pay some of his signing on fee back in Poland
  8. Love the genius that is Cammy Brown. Once again Leon Flint top scores but Bomber and Kyle get ht 15 nomination.
  9. I would drop NK and give Tom Brennan 28 days then Charles may be back.
