Finally I have 5 mins to write my thoughts on a fantastic weekend. Firstly I have to say congratulations to the Leszno club who put on a great weekend, thanks for having us. We met some cool people Pedropete and his Dad, Tractorgirl and especially Lawrence the best speedway commentator around. Sorry I missed you after the meeting mate completely forgot. (somehow contrived to miss Rico though!) Onto the meeting itself, luckily some very kind person gave me a couple of pit passes so my brothe and me watched the meeting from the pits which was an awesome experience. Thanks a lot mate you "Know" who you are. The racing was pretty good I thought, what people who are complaining need to remember is thaat these are the best riders in the World and once they are in front very difficult to pass. Unless of course you are Scott Nicholls who was a complete embarrassment. Peering over the airfence there was loads of dirt on the track it just seemed to me like it needed more water down. All in all a great weekend. If you've never been to a GP in Poland I would recommend you do so. The atmosphere is second to none and the Polish people are some of the nicest I have met anywhere in the World.

Cheers for this mate. We are planning to go to Gniezno but looking at their website it doesn't look like they have a meeting this Sunday. Could one of our Polish friends confirm one way or the other and also let me know the start time.

Yes mate we land at 11.20 on Friday. Then dump bags at hotel then rush off to practice. I'm hoping we can make the 13.02 train which arrives at Leszno at 14.05 if not we will get the 13.58 which arrives at 15.11. I will PM you my mobile numbers, one of which I'm sure you will get me on.

Hi Lawrence, unfortunately my team (Wimbledon) no longer run. I have only been to a couple of meetings this season and the only program I have is from the British U-21 final which I will gladly bring along. If it's of interest. We are really looking forward to the weekend, it can't come quick enough. I'm sure Rico will do the introductions.

The way he rode again today he will take some stopping.

This meeting should have been next Sunday. Would have been a great way to finish GP weekend off.

Just finished watching two cracking meetings. Firstly Czestochowa, already missing flu victim Greg Hancock also lost Lee Richardson in his first race with a hand injury. Losing at home to Torun who had Wieslaw Jagus in inspired form only dropped one point to Nicki P who in turn dropped his only point to Jagus. Then watched the last 9 races of Tarnow losing at home to a Gollob and Holta inspired Gorzow. Special mention to Janusz Kolodziej (sp) who was in fine form. Both much better than the tripe served up most Mondays over here.

Aint that the truth! The same result would do me. Nicki will be more consistent over the series so second place wouldn't kill him but a Gollob win at Leszno would be quite special.
