Where in this thread has anyone said any of that? Firstly no-one has said there was nothing wrong with calling the meeting off. It's a disgrace and someone should be made to pay. GP's are often a wonderful spectacle and are more sucessfull than the One day final was towards the end of its days. We are lucky to be able to have the nxt GP at Bydgoscz one of, if not the best track in the world. Why diss Greg? He is certainly a more worthy World Champ than Szakiel (sp), Muller or indeed Havelock. 1977 I was not even one so I can't comment!!

I disagree completely. Have you ever been to a GP? Genuine question. If not get yourself over to Poland or Sweden next year it is an experience. FWIW I believe all GP's should be held on permanent tracks. And to say you have never been impressed by a GP beggars belief.

That has nowt to do with it. Holder has been beaten twice by Emil in the U-21 final that enough should promote him above Chris. That said Holder does ride in the top division in Poland and was excellent yesterday.

Yes, he rides as junior I believe as he is under 21. But next year he will be in the team proper.
