I'm sure the three times world champion will take your advice on board mate.
Who can blame him at the start of a long season on a less than perfect track.
After Wimbledon closed the first time I drifted away from the sport completely. Although this period coincided with my "raving days" so whether I would have been going every week is debateable anyway!
Got back into the sport when SKY started broadcasting and my first meeting back was at Brandon where I think Crump and Sullivan were riding for Peterborough against Cov. Wimbledon came back a few years later and I missed all but a handful of home meetings and done a few aways.
I mainly follow Nicki in the GP's now but despite living 20 mins from Rye I can rarely muster up the enthusiasm to go, even gto cheer on the opposition.
I will never be able to "support" another team it just wouldn't feel right.
"Len Silver did a great job with the track - he gave us a slick track on the first day of the season, which was important. There was some good racing"
Jason Crump in todays Spar.
One other thing, a shame Nigel "British speedway" Pearson couldn't have done the announcing. Craig Saul was great as ever but the other guy just didn't have anything about him, didn't do anything particularly wrong but was just a tad dull IMO.
£15.00 well worth it just to see Nicki smoke the ginger one a couple of times.
KK, Niels and Jonno! Impressed. Tai, Shields and Barker didn't.
Highlight of the day probably saying hello to Zonkers and meeting KevH.
