Just in from a freezing cold Lakeside! My Cousin was have a spin at a training day so I popped along. Along with all The Dragons Bridger, Watt, Nilsson and Mear were blowing away the cobwebs. The track looks much different up close doesn't look half as tight as it does from the top of the bowl. Very bumpy along the back straight though. Just good to hear and smell the bikes again!

I've only heard one alternative in recent times and that was Darren Fletcher and he wipes the floor with Pearson. I don't hold with the attitude that it needs to be made to sound exciting. Two blokes screaming and shouting doesn't necessarily make you think "Wow this is good"

I have to disagree mate. Speedway is a marketable form of entertainment. Raw excitement. Kids should love it but unfortunately there is no one prepared to actually promote an amazing sport. Forget all the bullsh1t there is no finer sight than a damn good speedway race.
