  1. Nice that we are back to normal Join you around 2pm UK. Enjoy and may the weather gods smile on Poland- unlike here . Alan.
  2. Shame about the crowd, but it doesn't get much better than that finish. Great racetrack but i'm sure it's "Bye Bye Bydgoszcz. Polski Sunday tomorrow so take care all. Alan.
  3. As GB are 14 points down on the leader can Woffy be a "double joker" on triple points?
  4. Love your pre-meeting patriotic optimism. Sadly....... Reality. All the best. Alan.
  5. Join us on the international section for the 3 meetings tomorrow http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport and I think you will see a different story for attendances. Bydgoszcz has declined tremendously as a speedway loving centre. Though NOT as a great racetrack. Alan.
  6. Hi all, Just been out with my son and had a slice of "humble" pie in case (as I anticipate) that GB don't finish stone cold last. I hope I am proved wrong, but I just can't see it. Anyway, hope springs eternal. Alan.
  7. Contentious decisions aside, an absolutely fabulous evening of racing. By far the best of the three meetings. Bydgoszcz is a great race track. Such a shame it has declined as a speedway loving venue. Saturday should be very special. Join you all then. Alan.
  8. Berntzon's form should bring a smile to a certain Swedish correspondent on this board. "Go Smederna" Alan.
  9. 17 more including the start tarts and comps.
  10. To be fair these segments are pre-recorded way before the start. Lets see when the tapes go up.
  11. Hi all, I'll go for the Aussies with the proviso that Holder is okay. Speedway over the years is full of riders who came back too soon after a wrist injury and it goes again. Fingers crossed he is okay. I really enjoy this Eurosport coverage. The presenter (name?) comes across as a very pleasant guy and Scott and Sophie are a good, knowledgeable (married ) pair. Kelvin and Nige can then "phwoarr proper speedway " their way through the heats. No injuries and good racing I hope. Alan.
  12. Not for the first time tonight Kelvin and Nige confused the Czech rider with the Latvian. It was Milic who made the gate and locked up, not Lebedevs. They continued the mistake throughout heat 20. I'll just put on my anorak. Thanks for the company folks. Alan.
  13. Comparing the 2 meetings? I think tonight there has been a bit more racing on display. Not a lot, but a bit better. Other opinions welcome. Alan.
  14. You've got that right mate. Shame about the Latvians. Bogdanovs and Lebedevs have both performed a lot better. Sometimes it's just not your night. Better things to come, i'm sure. Just not tonight.
  15. A lot of "man-boobs" on display in the crowd. In the interests of equality could we have the situation evened up. Paticularly from the blonde holding the heat board. Alan..
  16. May the best team win- and may it be Latvia!! Hope they cause a few upsets. I think it is marvelous that such a small nation can be a force on the world stage.
  17. And we know you don't tell fibs. Does this solemn promise include any other alias you use?
  18. Well done the British lads who did all that could have been asked of them. 3 team contest and looking forward to Tuesday. Regards. Alan.
  19. Hi all, From a laptop in Philadelphia and a wizard stream. Great crowd and super weather so the stage is set. May Tai inspire the team. Alan. Well you can't knock Stead's performance in that one.
  20. This is just tremendous stuff. What a meeting!!! Totally enjoyed that. "Danke schoen and auf wiedersehen" All the best. Alan.
