  1. Pawlicki doing the business tonight. Courageous second corner. Honestly, a bit surprised at that.
  2. Edited just for you. Forgive me, i'm old and dyslexic.- or something like that. You have no idea how many red lines i get for my spelling over here. Honour , humour ,, anything ending in "ised" -.
  3. Heat 3. MAGNIFICO. Emperor Kenni and President Michelsen.
  4. Doyle will be a weapon for Dackarna tonight at reserve. Perhaps Nicki might knock him off for us .
  5. Hi all, "Go Smederna" and if this does turn out to be his last track appearance in Smederna's colours 'Go Peter Karlsson" We truly will not see his like again. A gentleman and true legend. Good Polish stream here (No Sam ) http://www.drhtv.com.pl/drhtv1.html
  6. http://www.munkebospeedway.dk/ Here is where we buy it. I'll figure where to click tomorrow. Alan.
  7. The spy novelist John Le Carre once said of his career in espionage that when faced with the "conspiracy or cock-up" question, it was the cock-up every time. I,ve seen half a dozen football and rugby matches (never a speedway meeting funnily enough ) over the years where the lights failed Anyway, thanks for the reply- and the pun was intended Regards. Alan.
  8. ??? No idea what you are on about. Please enlighten us. Regards. Alan.
  9. Something that hasn't been mentioned was the emotion charged atmosphere in the stadium due to the very bad heat 2 crash that sent the young reserve Dawid Krzyzanowski to hospital. (thankfully a lot better now ) There was a somber mood over the proceedings and i wonder if this had any bearing on the referees decision? In my humble opinion the wrong decision, but as i said at the time "others will disagree" Regards. Alan.
  10. Today's Sportowefakty has some interesting comments from Ostrovia officials. They were delighted with the above average night time attendance. By running early afternoon (purely for the scheduling dictates of the TV company), they say they lose out to "Sunday afternoon family activities ". Makes a lot of sense and i hope we get more meetings under those brilliant lights. Despite the scoreline there was some terrific racing. Regards. Alan.
  11. "It's Been A Hard Day's Night" Thanks for the company everyone. Feast of a week coming up. All the best. Alan.
  12. The floodlights at Ostrovia are brilliantly bright. Best i've seen for a while. Speedway always looks better under the lights.
  13. I think he started with Wimbledon, then to Southampton and, of course on to the Wolves. Terry Betts. Oh those Friday nights in the Provincial League. Pawel, you are my friend, but it is 32-16 after 8 heats. Otherwise i'm going nuts http://sport.tvp.pl/21051785/zuzel-nice-polska-liga-ostrovia-polonia-bydgoszcz
  14. 22-14 after 6 to the Ostrovia "Bannister Court Saints" Where is Peter Vandenberg? Thanks Pawel, but this one is absolutely perfect.
  15. That's blocked for me This one is fine. http://sport.tvp.pl/21051785/zuzel-nice-polska-liga-ostrovia-polonia-bydgoszcz
  16. I don't think Nicki did anything wrong. He was faster and in front and Doyle came acroos him. Others will see it differently.
  17. For the Ostrovia meeting, if you scroll down here http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport to next week- the16th, to the Bydgoszcz -Krakow listing and go to the Krakow media player link- hey presto you have a perfect TVP stream.that will be fine for today's meeting. Alan. Is this the last season for Piotr P and Zmarzlik as reserves ?
  18. Well you were seen in the pits beforehand wearing a fedora and carrying a violin case splashing zlotys into both teams hands. Which i am told is fantastic for both adults and children.
  19. And may they both be around to entertain us for many years to come.
