  1. The crowd are in such good spirits. Fingers crossed for them ( and us!) Alan.
  2. Well, maybe. Anyone help with the state of the weather? Likely to go ahead ? Wish i could speak Polish!. Regards. ALan.
  3. Good morning, afternoon, evening (depending where you are) to all.Fabulous day here in the US. Looking forward to this one, though i would be surprised if anyting but a home win. Still can't get over the presentation in the meeting yesterday. Charmingly bizarre. Did anyone notice the hotel on the 3rd bend, where you could watch from your window? I just LOVE everything about Polish speedway. How it should be. On with the racing! Alan.
  4. Well, i got the winner anyway. Thanks to the streamer and join you all tomorrow. Regards. Alan.
  5. This is the most "individual" meeting i have ever seen. Dig the milk-maid start line girls. Gollob from Greg!! Alan
  6. Amazing. How about Skornicki's kevlars? The wild west show! Thanks for the link. Alan.
  7. I'm an early riser. It is 5.55 am here and i have my coffee and am rejoicing in the Bees win last night! Best Wishes. Alan.
  8. I see it is up, so we may be in luck. Now, i have a dilemma as it clashes with the Premiership rugby. No i don't. Record the rugby! Thanks again. Alan.
  9. Wow, would love to see this one. Let's hope!!! Regards. Alan.
  10. Thanks as always, and for the link to the line ups. Join you Sunday at 10am ( for me here in the US) Regards. Alan.
  11. Thanks for the update. Hope springs eternal for speedway junkies! Lets hope someone will post a link if there is a feed. Kindest regards. Alan.
  12. Great! I am sure you will post a link when and if there is one. The net streams have made such a difference for me, isolated (speedway-wise) in the north-eastern USA where it doesn't show on the radar. When you say "speedway" to an American they think you are refering to Nascar racing which they refer to as "Speedways". Back to work! Regards. Alan.
  13. Thanks so much. Even though it was a bit of a clunker yesterday i still enjoyed it. I guess i will join you on Sunday for Poland. The first meeting sounds like a good one. Regards. Alan.
  14. I take your point, but it could have been Mick Jagger missing for all the difference it would have made. It always pleases the supporters to have a REALLY strong team , as Lejonen have put together, but you could see by the body language how demoralised Rospiggarna were and it makes for fairly poor racing. I would be worried about crowd levels if i were the Rospiggarna promoters. I, too, was very dissapointed with Pawlicki. But that can happen when a team is down. He only got it together for his 5th ride, when he headed Pedersen for 3/4 of a lap. He looked a world beater last Sunday in Poland. Do you have the results of the other matches last night? Thanks for your always informative posts. Alan.
  15. This was a mismatch. Lejonen were the Poole of Sweden tonight. BUT, it wasn't very good speedway. Rospiggarna need strengthening but fast.( Or Lejonen to destrengthen!) Regards. Alan.
  16. Yes, usually, though it has been a bit "hit and miss" on Tuesdays. Download "sopcast" and try http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport Advertised at 6pm-Uk but often it is 6.15. It is on Orange Sports and there are LOTS of ads, but if you get it who cares. I am in the USA now and these streams are a godsend for me. Apparently Bruce Penhall watches too! Regards and fingers crossed. Alan.
  17. Thank you for the information. Weather forecasts are not ALWAYS right, so fingers crossed for all the meetings. I hope to watch the televised match. Regards. Alan.
  18. I have just finished watching today's 2 matches. The first was FANTASTIC! Everything a speedway meeting should be (unless you are a Torun fan). What a comeback. I am very excited for my old team, the Bees. Pawlicki looks a great prospect. Without him, Gorzow would have lost today, despite Nicky and Thomas. The 2nd match wasn't so good, but that is how it goes sometimes. Wonderful Polish speedway and congratulations on Gollob's win yesterday in Prague. Thank you again for your help. Best Wishes. Alan.
  19. Thanks as always from the USA Danish webmaster. Hope we don't get a rain off. Latest weather forecast from anyone sticking their head out the window in Prague? Regards. Alan.
  20. Thank you very much for this information. I have no idea why but i like the reserves going out in heat 1. The major thing i like is NO DOPEY DOUBLE POINTS! Just old-fashioned tactical subs. UK please take note! You have speedway as it used to be in the 50,s in England. Crowds, even for televised matches that British tracks can only dream of. Great stadiums and tracks you can race on. Which team do you support, so we can watch out for you? Also what is the cost to attend a meeting? At 16.00 pounds a head, no wonder crowds in England are so low. Thanks again and i hope the weather tomoorow in Prauge tomorrow and Poland on Sunday is not too wet. Regards. Alan.
  21. Thank you so much, both of you, for the links. Any info adds to the enjoyment of watching . Yes, the weather has been awful for you so far. Fingers crossed. Thanks again. Alan.
  22. RIP. Tommy. Always good to remember the dangers these guys we love to watch, face every time they go out on the track. He was a "goodun". Regards. Alan.
  23. Thanks for the info, as usual. Is there anyone who can post the teams for these matches and also the standings in the league at present? Thanks to internet streaming i have become a TOTAL fan of Polish speedway.( even when they order Pawlicki back to practice!) As you can see by the "name" i am an old Bees supporter- the 48 is the first year my dad took me to Brandon at the age of 4, but i have to admit that the Polish league is just terrific. I would be there to every meeting i could get to. I LOVE the passion of the fans and the splendid stadiums. I just wish i had one of the start line girls beside me here to translate! A good weekend in store- hopefully the weather gods are kind on both days. Regards from the USA. Alan
  24. Well, at least i got the last 6 heats. Grat meeting. A draw was a fair result. Well done Lee Richardson in heat 15 and WHAT a heat 16!. Thanks to the streamer-better late than never. Bye all till Saturday. Alan.
