Today's Final at Vojens would have been a far better spectacle if the first 6 heats had been run AFTER 6 races with juniors as a curtain-raiser. By the time we got to heat 7 the track was providing some good racing lines and from then on we got racing. For heats 1-6 for the most part it was gate and go or get filled in. The youngsters wouldn't complain at the exposure and experience . If dry, a junior post-script to the main event. Chugging through slime is not what a World Championship should be about. I know it is the same for everyone but it is speedway RACING . Regards. Alan.

The problem for British promotors is that if they do show this live on UK tv, then the crowds at Elite League meetings will decline even further as people realise they are being served up a second class product compared to this and Sweden. Alan

By the way, a friend of mine in England ( I am now in the USA ) was in Sweden for the last 2 weeks and says it is a wonderful country.
