  1. Despite the score-line, races like the last one with Holder and Adams are what speedway is all about. Good entertainment. Alan.
  2. Holder has drained last week's champagne from his system. Regards to all. Alan.
  3. I am the old fashioned sort who takes them at their word, since i have no reason to doubt them and have no technical knowledge whatsoever regarding streaming. To me it is the greatest leap forward since the compact disc! I thought it was very nice of them to reply to my(totally non-complaining) e-mail bringing it to their attention. It was the same here in the USA and with Leicester Lion and Racers and Royals connections in Europe. I will take any speedway whether it is perfect or not. I think Smederna are to be congratulated on trying something new and wish them the best of luck. Hopefully the next transmission will be better. I know Racers and Royals and i will be watching come what may! Best Wishes. Alan.
  4. Hi guys, I had a nice reply from the Smederna club explaining the problems they were having with streaming from OTHER tracks. Hello! Thanks for you mail. We are aware of the problem with the freezing. At the various tracks we are going to don't have the necessary internet speed to provide a non freezing stream. Here at our own home track we a internet speed of 10mbits up and 10mbits down, the other tracks has a internet speed of 0.6 mbits witch is slow. All the best Best regards Mikael Johnsson Smederna SF The good thing is we can watch again as soon as a meeting is over -the 3 of us who watch!!! Regards to all. Alan.
  5. Watching it again on replay-they apologise on the web-site, by the way, for the quality of the transmission, i was really impressed with young Daniel Gunnestad. He scored 13, paid 14 and looks a real chip off the old block. Like father, like son and the successor to Rune Holta, who is , to me still Norwegian , though i totally understand why he did it. It will be nice to follow Daniel's progress. Regards. Alan.
  6. Great news. I am probably of the same generation as your dad. BrandonBee48 was the year my dad first took me to see Coventry, so it follows that i am now 66, but just as enthusiastic about the BEST sport of all. Once a fan, always a fan. The video streaming and the help of people like Racers and Royals now gives me a terrific variety of meetings. Poland and Sweden provide such fabulous entertainment on Sundays and Tuesdays. With Leicester reopening, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Coventry and the glimmer of hope for Dudley(Cradley) you can revive the Midland League!!. Regards. Alan
  7. Thank you for the expert info, both of you. I see it is now on offer again, so can watch again without the freezing. Till the next time-Poland on Sunday, bye guys. Alan.
  8. Hope you get your team back next year. I spent many years going over to Blackbird Road watching Jack Geran, Bryan Elliot and of course dear old Ken McKinlay. Best. Alan.
  9. When it has finished i am going to send them an e-mail letting them know about the freezing. Not complaining at all, just so they know. They may not be aware and may not be able to do anything about it, but a "techie" may be able to "up" their stream possibly. I have no idea about this stuff. I just marvel that i can watch this from a small town in the USA. I think they are very innovative in doing this and want to see the club back on their feet again. Any speedway is better than no speedway (for me!) Regards Alan
  10. Which proves we are REAL speedway fan(atic)s! I just Love speedway all my life. Alan
  11. 3 laps there in heat 8 without freezing. Getting better! Alan.
  12. Mind reader! I looked it up too, in between freezes. Good pedigree for a young lad to have. Best. Alan.
  13. Always! just when the race starts. At least we can watch it smoothly after it is posted, but 'tain't' the same as live. I liked Lars Gunnestad, Nice bloke and i guess you are correct. Smederna going well anyway. Alan
  14. Obviously the fashion trend for starting marshals in Sweden this year is jeans cut off below the knees. Bit too trendy for this old fart. Alan.
  15. That was a good meeting that tailed off a liitle at the end but well worth seeing. Good crowd too. I am freezing up a lot here. You too? Alan.
  16. I always love the settings of these tracks. The tall pine trees and (mostof all!!!) ABBA type music adding to the atmosphere. Enjoy Alan.
  17. Hi, my friend. Looks good so far. Hope it doesn't freeze as much as last week. Ws shall see! Best wishes. Alan
  18. Tonight's away meeting is shown on their web-site as being live in 50 minutes time. Regards. Alan.
  19. Absolutely right. Nearly as good as being there. Super atmosphere and some good racing. Thanks to Wocky for the stream. Regards. Alan.
  20. After 4 heats, very good racing. Crump/Gollob-2 masters dueling. Alan.
  21. Thanks. Lovely stream and a very good crowd. On with the racing! Regards. Alan
  22. Thank you to both yourself and Yules. Looking forward to this one, as always. The GP,s have been good this year and i am sure, weather permitting, Malilla will be too. Join you both in an hour or so. Kindest regards. Alan.
  23. Early morning here in the USA and i am crying in my coffe after the abject Bees performance last night on Sky. Soccer-live site appears to be down at present. Wocky's home page is showing tonight's meeting, but this old feller has no clue about Facebook and Twitter and how to get a password for Wocky, so nearer the time will one of you "young uns" post a link so i can join you and get my weekly fix of wonderful Swedish atmosphere. Racers and Royals, your trip to the Thriller in Malilla is coming up next wssk isn't it? Do you have a start line picnic table seat? Regards to all. Alan.
