Thanks, my friend. Just read your message. Sorry i didn't notice it. Never think i am that important to get messages. I will do the google earth a bit later when my 16 year old techie son gets home from school and let you know. Smederna look strong in the heat leader department at this level. Nice to see Kenni Larsen from my beloved Bees. Lovely evening there. LOVE the music. Rock on Alan. -

Can't get anything here, same as last week. My computer needs a tune-up from Gollob's mechanics! Enjoy folks. Alan. -
"First ever meeting" Wish them well from a man in the USA now, who was 4 when his dad took him to Coventry for the first time. I loved it then, i love it now, 60 years later. There is nothing like it in the whole wide world. I'll be thinking of you all. Alan.

My fingers are crossed too. I couldn't get the signal to cross the Atlantic last week. I added methanol to my computer but it didn't work I caught up with all three matches yesterday thanks to the link from Racers and Royals. I'll know in a couple of hours whether i can watch my "adopted" Swedish team of Smederna. " Come on you Blacksmiths!" All the best from a very wet Pennsylvania. You wouldn't have had much speedway here in the last month, i can tell you. Alan.

We are friendly folk here in the International section Exactly why i like posting here, and NOT in the Elite League section. I am far too old to get argumentative with anyone. I have been a fan(atic) of this sport for 60 years now. I still get a thrill every time i see riders come to the tapes. I presume everyone else does too. I LOVE watching the Polish and Swedish leagues. For what it is worth, more so than the Elite league, though others will differ. So be it. I await with baited breath the introduction of "smellovision" so we can get the authentic methanol fueled atmosphere. Lets all have the proverbial "drink" together and respect each others views. 'Allsvensken" this evening ( afternoon for me here in the USA) and Poland on Sunday. I look forward to joining you all. Kindest regards. Alan.

Yer' a schola an' a genulmun. Thank you. Alan. -
What was GREAT about yesterday-apart from Reading winning ! was that we had a PERFECT hi-def.stream of the Swedish Canal+ coverage to pick from. I was in heaven watching, as a bit of a row developed in the thread over the Premier coverage. Same crew as in previous years-including our beloved Per and pits coverage plus an intermission feature on Tomasz, in Polish with Swedish subtitles. I understood every word I hope we get it every week. It was SERIOUSLY enjoyable- and a good meeting considering the conditions. I'm sure you set your recorder so can see for yourself. Sorry you can't get to Wembley next Monday. Smederna tomorrow-i hope. Regards from a wet Pennsylvania. Alan.

Glad you enjoyed it. Why don't you join us on Sunday for the Polish Extraligue action? Details are in the thread started by Racers and Royals. Then your better half can really have some time to herself! Seriously good coverage (in Polish of course) . I wouldn't miss it for the world (or my wife!) Best wishes. Alan.
-
Well, who is a happy fellow then? Anchored by veteran defenceman Bobby Schwartz, the Royals move on to THE BIG ONE. Well done and we can only guess where you will be next Monday. Regards. Alan.
-
Shame i don't understand a word of Swedish, but i love it anyway.I always figure i have a sense of what they are saying, as with Poland on Sundays. Living here now in speedway wilderness i am so grateful to the streamers Heartwarming always to see dear old Per.One who nearly lost his life on the track. At the end of the day we ALL love the sport and the guys who risk their necks to entertain us. Regards. Alan.

May you end up in the black. These yanks take it seriously. Alan.

By the way Manchesterpaul, i want to thank you for your terrific GP race card. Adds so much to an old fart Speedway connoisseur such as i. Alan.
-
I always loved it in years gone by when we got the Canal+ stream. Always was grateful for the Orange coverage from Poland as a back up, but i LOVE the atmosphere on the Swedish feed. Next best thing to being there. It's been a good meeting, considering the weather. Glad we got through it.

Terrific effort from Pavlic at the back. He has come on this season so far.

Better ads too. Alan

Yes you can. Get on your roof and blow for us. Alan.

How much of an injury is Rune carrying? He sure isn't his usual self.

See the next two posts. Fabulous race.

Great example of the lost art of team riding from Magnus. Always looking out for Gafurov. Well done.
-
Surely Freddie got a roller there? Make up for Wells last night, who didn't get one, but got nabbed anyway. Alan.

Slow the clouds down! Alan.
