  1. I absolutely think the UK should have at least one UK born Under 21 in each team. I'll leave it to our respective Polish and Swedish correspondents, but i thought it was both in Poland and at least one Swedish Under 21 reserve there. You have to be patient and let them sink or swim, otherwise you get embarrassing (to the UK) World Under 21 series dominated by Poles,Russians, Swedes and Danes. I await the blasts from the UK posters! Regards. Alan.
  2. I couldn't resist guv honest Seriously, it looks magnificent from the impression you posted and further evidence of the forward thinking of the Polish speedway community. Since i've always been an "opposite the starting gate on the back straight spectator" i'd have my season ticket booked for that one already. Best wishes from a very wet Pa. Alan.
  3. Thanks for this Pawel. It looks as though it will rival the back straight facility i recall standing in at Smallmead in the 90s Have a good winter up there in the north country! Best Wishes. Alan.
  4. Well everyone, Have a good winter ( Summer in the Southern Hemisphere). The last song they always played at Brandon at the end of the meeting was Andy Williams "May Each Day Of Your Life Be A Good Day". Seems approprite to wish that to all the International section speedway fans, wherever. Regards. Alan.
  5. We'll be pining to see anything when we are snowbound in January Alan.
  6. Hi there. No one can say these guys aren't taking this seriously. Terrific racing so far. This is not an end of the season walk in the park. Great entertainment.
  7. With the Under 21s going to 8 rounds nezt season ( is he still eligible?) plus Poland and Sweden, the outlook for "Every night of the week" UK doesn't look too promising. As you say, he, and his brother are terrific,.
  8. Weather looks very good. As i said above it will be fun to watch the 4 Under 21 "wobbling juniors" in heat 1.
  9. Good morning/afternoon everyone. Racers and Royals gives the stream hub in post 1. Plenty of choices. Here is the one i'm on. http://pl-sport.tv/stream-2.htm Regards. Alan.
  10. Thanks for that and sorry you won't be able to join us. Still, the picture quality on the TVP replays is superb as i caught up with the finals and 3rd place matches last week. Best. Alan.
  11. The reserves race in heat 1 should be a fair old duel between 4 promising under 21s. Join you tomorrow. Regards. Alan.
  12. "So brandonbee48 pack the Mrs. into the car and take a road trip its only 2200 miles from Pittsburgh, PA" Ghostwalker, my friend, I think it would be much more appropriate if we went on a Harley with Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild" ringing in our ears. IF this comes off i'll keep you going on Budweiser for the whole meeting Take care. Alan.
  13. Well that is quite civilised but makes it 4am UK or 5am for you! Get the coffee pot on! Nice to be back after my computer crash ended my season. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to you for your incredibly informed news and comments about all things Swedish on the sport we love so much. May life be good to you over the winter. All the very best. Alan.
  14. Well said, Anders. With one succinct post you sum it all up. A lovely idea, but with the structure of speedway as it is, it won't work. All the best, my friend. Alan.
  15. Even earlier! 4am for us for the rugby world cup semis. I'm sure there will be a "fun" start time for the Auckland GP next March. Life in the colonies. A very wet one as i look out at 7.30am. All the best. Alan.
  16. Whoops! Would have been a long time staring at a blank screen All the best. Alan.
  17. Slow morning at the office Thank you so much for posting the links to the playoffs in our favourite league. Fabulous-"Falubaz" to be able to catch up. Will join you on Saturday for "The Challenge". Best Wishes. Alan.
  18. Doodling through the BBC Sports site this morning i came across a cash strapped ( aren't we all?) Polish football team- Hutnik Krakow's way of raising money. I think this is a jolly good idea and should be adopted by all teams in all leagues. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/878368-female-fans-strip-off-to-raise-money-for-struggling-polish-football-club#ixzz1aaCmvdys Perhaps Mateusz could lead the way in Poland and Ghostwalker in Sweden? Go to it guys! Regards. Alan.
  19. I saw Per win his World Final at Bradford (was there ever a better race than when Shawn Moran beat him ?) and his title was richly desreved. I also saw him on the Monday following at Wolverhampton when he paraded the trophy. Per is one of those constant reminders of how dangerous a sport it is and how we can NEVER pay them enough for entertaining us.I've seen Per commentating on the Canal+ Elitserien coverage and look forward to seeing him again next weekend. What a fabulous meeting it is shaping up to be. Regards. Alan.
  20. Thank you.It was a terrific idea.Poland is deservedly tops! Alan.
  21. Thanks so much for posting these. It was an entertaining, incident packed meeting for sure.I LOVE the pictures of the start-line girls with 2 soldiers toting their rifles. "Blow them a kiss and you're gone buddy!" Was it a Polish military celebration day nationwide, or did someone just come up "Let's have a military themed parade?" Either way it added to the presentation and entertainment, as it always does from the number 1 speedway nation. Kindest regards. Alan.
  22. I've been missing for 2 weeks. I've got some catching up to do All the best. Alan.
  23. Hell of a race to finish off with. Well done Darcy and Pawlicki. Take care all. Alan.
