Today sees the start of the Allsvenskan league racing in Eskilstuna. However the powers that be have decided to make this a "pay-stream" event. The cost works out to about 4.80 UK Pounds. For myself in the USA about $ 7.25. Whether this is a "one-off" to guage reaction. we shall see. I've become a real fan of Smederna and Allsvenskan over the years, so for me it was no contest. After telling you it was free, which it has been for the last few years, they have now decided to charge for it - whether this opening match only or not, we shall find out.As our Swedish friend and trusted correspondent indicates it is 49kroner. I think both yourself and Haza above have the answer The potential audience (mainly male) would be decimated by the plethora of football on against it. Even a nut case like myself has the 4pm Premier match on the TV in the background whilst i watch my beloved speedway on my PC. Hi, great speedway weather here today. 6" of snow for cripes sake. I find it strange that TVP block this in the USA and Canada. I have the largest Satellite provider here, DirecTV and there is no Polish service available at all. Korean, Cantonese, Spanish, Vietnamese........ you name it, you can get a package. But no Polski!! Same for Pawel in Canada. Obviously no one is going to do anything about it so we can watch these videos and as long as my "directomycomputer" service continues on Sundays all is well. -(working again All the best and i hope it is better weather in Manchester for tonight.
