  1. Terrific! Sorry i had to leave straight after the Danish meet to take my son to a swim meet, so i couldn't follow the updates. Still, a win is a win. Regards. Alan.
  2. Thank you for this. We (I'm sure i speak for all of us on here) hope you can overcome the problem. Best of luck. Alan.
  3. Went many many times Paul. My fondest memory was going up with Henryk Zyto and his driver- 1960? and getting in for "nowt" as we were his pushers! The best race track ever in Britain ? Norfolk Arena and the old 380yd Coventry were good but Belle Vue was the best in my humble??? opinion.
  4. Was heat 11 the most predictable 5-1 ever? I didn't even bother to put it up beforehand. At our age you have to ask???? Nice to have you with us after the brilliant match yesterday.
  5. Yesterday here, it was mate! " the weather forecast sound x-rated." If you folks want some spare lumber there are a lot of downed trees here today I presume the cars going round are a local dealership advertising- and presumably sponsering? Good idea. Do they do that in the UK tracks?
  6. Always best to be a good pessimist than a bad optimist Alan I know it's just tyre packing, but how often do you see the water wagon on the track in Denmark?? Hey! just had a horrific thought.......if women's libbers catch on to speedway we might be forced to watch start line men with every alternate heat lol nooooooo" quote from Paul! I proudly wear the crown of the most politically incorrect old bugger in the USA. "Vive Le Difference" In the old days "donning the black cap" was the sign of the death penalty. Here it's Ole's "joker" Geez- they are watering the track! In Denmark!!!!!!!!!
  7. " Moi aussi" You know you are old when the candles cost more than the cake! Alan. I have found that the repeats aren't streamed- but maybe i've just been unlucky. Looking like we are out of luck?
  8. That was what i was deducing (me!!). I was thinking how ironic is it that we get a perfect, legal stream, and the techies can't get it through to us She's a bit of "alright" isn't she?
  9. Obviously a problem from the scrolled message. Is it to do with the stream? One of our Danish friends will oblige i'm sure.
  10. Hi everyone. Isn't it nice not to worry about getting a stream?
  11. I've had a good trawl around their (excellent) site using google translate- which actually worked very well. Unfortunately there is no mention anywhere of a stream that i can see. I would love to be proved wrong though. As an aside, one can't help but be struck (enviously) by the amount of community involvement and local support that Polish clubs have from councils and government who see these teams as "assets" to everyone's benefit, including we who watch from afar. Regards. Alan.
  12. Thank you both for this. Since a thunderstorm woke me up early at 5am it was great early morning viewing. Racers and Royal's 10 mins was a great lead in- i even understood Bjarne's segment . Gray, the video quality is SUPERB. What we need to do is to smuggle you into the stadium this Saturday with cameras, hook you up to the internet and let us see it! Seriously, if it is not shown, and it seems unlikely with nothing on TVP schedule for Saturday, at least we might get it here afterwards. We can but hope. You are a real asset to us, my friend. Thanks to both. Alan.
  13. Very, very entertaining meeting. Thanks for the company and join you tomorrow for Denmark. Regards. Alan.
  14. Ghostwalker, I just got my bill for the first Smederna stream-$7.50 total which isn't bad, but for what you get should be less. However that is for another day and another thread. The grand European tour continues tomorrow when we visit Denmark. http://kanalsport.dk/ 5.30pm UK.
  15. Well that was worth the price of admission Emil- i love watching ya! Well rode Leon too.
  16. Yes. What can i say? Thank god Scott is (relatively) okay. SH-T! Just got everything back. Power went off The joys of "extreme" weather Missed 5 and 6 but got the replay of 7. That really was quite scary!
  17. Just got back for heat 4 after rushing round to close all the windows as a monster storm erupts. 34c here so if a tornado blows my roof off, you'll know what happened. Summer comes early here too. Good job i have a stream. My satellite signal has gone.. So i'd be buggered if we had it here.
  18. Agree! I love the start marshall's "Dude" coat Paul-thanks for the race card.
  19. http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/54544/1/swedish-speedway---dackarna-vs-vetlanda-live-stream-online.html Polish, but hey!!
  20. Hi all, Hope you are all well- this could be a great one!!
  21. select all, cut and paste into notepad. then unselect, reselect and cut and paste into the post editor. Alright for you young ones! Join you soon. Alan.
  22. Thanks for posting this. After the opening spectacular, this is a bit more down to earth. A nice old stadium, like you would expect to find. That was a nasty spill in heat 1. Relieved when they both got up. The safety!!? fence looks a bit dodgy! The start girls, with their Janis Joplin "Pearl" headsets were very enthusiastic- even during the races they kept going full tilt.On loan from the Bolshoi Ballet perhaps ? The crowd looked pretty good from what one could see. ."We Will Rock You"- the world over! I'm glad they finally got some water down after heat 4- i thought we were going to lose them all from view.! The view from centre green wasn't great i'm afraid after heat 4.It's obviously not good for attendance at the next meeting when the home team Salavat get hammered like that. A real contrast to the first meeting we saw! Thanks again. Alan.
