A few years ago, Allen Trump picked up Ben Barker from a Rye House meeting and drove him to Coventry. They sent out Josh Auty and told him to do a lot of gardening and then to ride through the tapes, whilst Ben was getting his kevlars on. Then out came Barker. A total farce and i agree with Ghostwalker. You're out and 3 riders only in the rerun Alan.

Well, i confess i made a terrible mistake in leaving this after heat 11 and going over to what turned out to be the worst meeting i have seen this season-bar non. The GOOD news- i was able to see the replay and see Slangerup just edge it, though of course they had it sewn up after 13 heats. Very enjoyable- and after what we saw at Coventry, bloody magnificent! Denmark is a very prosperous country and feeds it's population very well, especially it's young ladies In the middle ages a large bottom on a female was a sign of high breeding ( they grabbed all the food ). Glad i live in the modern world. I was figuring we were going to get through this nicely to go over to (so called ) Elite League, but now i'm not so sure.

For what it's worth Madsen rode really well in Fridays Danish meeting, despite getting excluded in one race for having the wrong helmet cover on. Looking forward to this. ( But then i always do!)

The sixth step up on the backstraight dead opposite the starting gate has my footprints immortalised in the concrete-wearing away now. Dad made little stools for my sister and i to stand on to give us a view. In the days when there were actually people in front of you and you had to be there by 6.45 to get a good spot!
