  1. Thrilled to know we are graced by royalty on the board whose comments count for more than anyone elses.
  2. In these types of situation i wish it could be "All4Back". But there you go. Ref. can't win whatever he does. Everybody is right and nobody is wrong. Alan.
  3. Changing the subject whilst we have you on here, any more Russian telecasts/streams coming up for our enjoyment? We rely on you my friend. Hope you are well. Alan.
  4. For some reason recently my forum postings go 'round and round" also. I always assumed it was my duff provider, but maybe it is a general problem. It can make you look silly at times when your post is whirling round in cyberspace and someone has long beaten you to it. Mind you i always allow for my "brain-fade syndrome' as one of the veterans of the board. Regards. Alan.
  5. I'm going to watch the tennis, coz i can't see this going ahead. Then i'll hope i get a stream for the Sky meeting. Take care all.
  6. The start girls are still out there, under their brollies. Whether it goes on or not, the Racing entertainment value will be fairly low.
  7. After the first two heats ( and glad i was wrong ) cue Little Richard "Slipping and A' Sliding"
  8. Coming from over here Black as the ace of spades here right now, after monster thunderstorms overnight. Trees down etc. 37C where my wife is right now. If i disappear, its weather related Not looking good for getting through this is it? By the shot of the rain plooping down through the floodlights, i can't see this even starting Hope i'm wrong, of course
  9. Has she got knocked out or not playing through injury? Or has she been singing unholy songs in church and now sharing a Russian jail cell with the group Pussy Riot? Knocked Out. And beware the wrath of Putin for losing!!
  10. I come to this meeting with a heavy heart Just deprived of the opportunity to lust after Maria Sharapova for the next two weeks. This had better be good to console me.
  11. Predictable finish to a predictable meeting, but hey, its speedway so i'll take it. Thanks for the company folks. Take care. Alan. The Bees disappeared the day Horton took over.
  12. Just "one of those nights". Pandorum hit it on the head earlier when he bemoaned the absence of Laguta.
  13. That was the most exciting action of the night with Larsen and Buczowski trying to knock each other off.
  14. We have a "Phewhataschorcha" heatwave here, so i spent this morning vegging with the six channel Wimbledon coverage we have. I must admit she played very well, but it was only the first round. As for this meeting, its all a bit flat, and with Holder imperious and Greg and Pawlicki in support, i can only see Ghostie and his dad drowning a sorrowful pint aftrewards.
  15. Smederna need to bring in Laura Robson on a tactical She's on a winning streak
  16. agree with Pandorum that Laguta's absence has left a great gaping hole. Shame.
  17. That didn't look too good. Poor old Magnus. Smederna really needed him to have a chance tonight. What a wonderful attendance. Great to see.
  18. Very civilised Where will you be? Really nice Polish stream. (Same feed and improve your Polish language skills for Sundays ) http://livesoccerhd.info/l10-a.html
  19. The single most important question facing the world today is where, on the terraces Ghostwalker and his dad will be standing and will they give us a wave ? Enjoy the meeting and "Go Smederna". Alan.
  20. Video here, but it came up for me "Only available in Poland". But since every waiter and chambermaid we encountered in London was Polish it might work for you under EU rules of reciprocity. Regards. Alan. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/366349/upadek-legowika-i-sundstroem-skrot-meczu-dospel-wlokniarz-czestochowa-stal-gorzo
  21. Oh what great memories are revived by seeing those names again and what a proud speedway heritage Sweden has. The name that evoked the greatest smile was the 1992 winner. What's Swedish for "Cowboy"/ Did he take out Swedish citizenship or was he qualified by domicile ? A 19 year old Olle the first champion and still going strong today. As Bob Hope sang "Thanks For The Memories" Thanks again. Alan.
  22. "Think of it like this...everyone can have a telephone...but if the telephone directories were suddenly gone, how would you know what number to dial...see what I mean?" I don't know anyone, of any age, who still uses a telephone directory. Even my wife's 80 year old mother googles 'hometown plumbers." Anyway, we've had our little airing and i'm looking forward to streamed Elitserien tomorrow. Regards. Alan.
  23. Whilst i see your point about them going after the hosting site, trust me ( and my 18 year old tech-savvy son ) another one will pop up a few hours later. According to him it is very easy and inexpensive to set up a streaming site- which is presumably why there are so many of them. My satellite TV package here in the USA gives me access to more football and rugby matches than i have time to watch and the irony that we get more Premier League football matches here live than you do in the UK. If only there was the slightest interest in showing speedway, but there isn't. The technology genie is out of the bottle and let's hope that more providers follow the lead of Denmark's Kanal Sport channel and give us "official" streams. I think i'll still be watching Sweden on Tuesdays and Poland on Sundays for a long time to come. Regards. Alan.
