The price, from the Mega Lada website is 350 rubles, which is almost exactly 7 pounds UK. Our friend Gray told us last year that it was around 3 pounds for a league match. I'll go out on a limb and forecast that, with the Laguta Bros. and Emil, the place will be jammed to the rafters. I await the "learned, informed" response from the Elite League section that "they are all peasants there who earn a pound a week." Regards. Alan.

Heat 4 with Artiom rounding Darkin on the last bend after a helter-skelter belter of a race was the race of the season for me. Speedway at it's finest. As Pandorum says "Watch these guys" They are really coming on a bundle. The 2nd round of the European Championship should be a great advert for the sport as a whole and a springboard to greater heights for this Russian Renaissance. Fantastic facility in Togliatti. Exciting stuff. Regards. Alan.

Despite the Mega home lead, 41-17, after 10 heats I am really enjoying this. 2 meetings and it's not yet 1pm here (have no idea what I have pressed to underline! My posts are not that important. ) Wouldn't dream of it!!!! There is something endearingly "wild" about this league Reminds me of the glory days of the Provincial league in the early 60s. Wolves v Cradley and booing Ivor Brown.

"You are getting old." Proudly Seriously, I do remember a shop in Leamington in the 80s asking insane prices for ripped jeans and remarking on it then.

The start girls do a little routine DURING a race. A liitle touch but it all adds to the entertainment value.

I've said this time and again, but no-one cares. The local dance school. The gymnastics club. ANYTHING. It ain't rocket science. Ah well. The speedway epicentre drifts inexorably east wards. Geez, that was one hell of a smash. SO relieved they are both up.

That has to be "All 4 Back". The tapes didn't go up level-again. No matter that the guy was brought down on the third bend. Yellow didn't get a fair start. They have to fix that gate!! My son tells me they pay BIG money for ripped jeans like that. Modern life baffles me at times.
-
Brilliant mate. I've got to nip out for 15 mins, so i'll join you then. Alan Gray, A huge thank you for this. Most enjoyable meetings. Love it Brilliant stream, huge crowd. Let's go!!!! You will not get a better race than that anywhere, anytime. Breathtaking!! Fabulous atmosphere. Every Elite League promoter?? should hang their heads in shame. That was "enthusiasm" with a vengeance from the guy in yellow. Glad he's okay but he was never going to get round bend 4 at that speed in a million years. Maybe his throttle jammed I cannot wait for the second round of the European Championship from this venue. I'm sure it will be a sellout and the racing and atmosphere should be MEGA. ( Hope they get the tapes working ) This is truly my favourite venue. Coventry eat your heart out!

Number 1 is that Gray comes up with a link. I'm sure he will. From previous history i think we can look forward to some MEGA entertainment Alan.
-
Gee, i hope they haven't over-watered as it looks like an ice speedway track right now. Next race should be interesting! Very enjoyable in a nice facility. Obviously shared with the local football team. Looking forward to the next one at my FAVOURITE venue!!
-
Lovely day there, but i hope the track has paid it's water bill, because they need the wagon out after every race!
-
My deep knowledge of Russian tells me i have the right country !! but is it on here now? Superb quality stream, but it is in a Russian gymnasium! My clock site says it is 15.00 CET so it should be on. Anyone else on now? Alan.
-
Go ahead, MAKE MY DAY. Gray, we luv ya !!! What is 15.00 CET ? 14.00 UK? ( so i can go back 5 here ) Join you later.. Alan.
-
Frojd means delight doesn't it? Regards. Alan.
-
Good finish, but my earlier comment holds. Not that thrilling, but hey, i'm glad I saw most of it. Take care all. Alan.
-
Didn't want it to "liven" up like that. Very nasty looking crash. Thank goodness both up, but you are probably right Paul. A headache for sure.
-
A curiously flat meeting, going by the 6 heats i've seen. It's a fast track, but they get spread out fairly quickly. Ah well, perhaps 11 to 15 will be corkers.
