  1. Emil- you lucky bugger sitting in the box with 'babe" Daria. These runaway victories are always a bit flat. Nice to see your team winning, but when its a bit of a slaughter it soon pales. I presume this Torun team was the owner's 2014 two-fingered salute for the sanctions (rightly) taken after last seasons Final debacle.?
  2. Being the real "old fart" of the board, I remember Wimbledon tracking a team with Barry Briggs, Ronnie Moore, Ron How, Cyril Maidment.... and all your team could do was "limit the damage" Reminds me of this Torun team. Sayfutdinov (when fit) as a second string.
  3. If there are, my guess would be that some were snapped up by "chancers" hoping to make a quick zloty by reselling them, since they were priced at next to nothing as part of the punishment for last season's Final shenanigans.
  4. Not only that, but two no-hopers at reserve as well. They'll be sending out someone like Gollob next- clearly over the hill!!
  5. Emil and Daria. My favourite rider and my scrumdelicious babe in the same interview. Heaven. Crap stadium, poor crowd, understrength teams...... Oh that's tomorrow on Sky.
  6. Made up for by the "well-fed" chunky Danish milk-maids. Life is grand!. Going for a walk in the sunshine and back shortly.
  7. Don't forget we have Sweden and Denmark coming up shortly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And FREE racecards from Paul. 6pm start.
  8. Peter Kildemand will certainly have endeared himself to the fans and management with this "never say die" performance.
  9. That young Jonsson is a real find and will go far! Glad you could join us. Slightly bigger crowds, slightly better stadiums and Rears to dream of!!
  10. I like Kildemand. Reminds me a bit of Emil. He always gives 100% and is wild and wooly. Cheers mate- me and technology. The milkman delivered by horse and cart when I was growing up.
  11. Soopah team riding from ole man Pepe there. I'm pretty sure Pawel is working today. He's same time zone as me, so its 11am for him. Maybe he has his I-pad on his tea break!
  12. Paul, after this I get to switch to my big screen to watch Ma. City Goggle eyed for sure by the end of the day. Why do I get a line through. ? Comment on the quality of my posts? Can't be bothered to try it again. Tarnow over Gdansk 18-6. We are missing both Racers and Royals and Pawel who could have filled us in on Laguta's rides. Guess we'll find out as it goes on.
  13. Promising number 2 for Falubaz. Anyone heard of him? Well that was tasty to start off with. That young Jonsson at number 2 looks a decent second string.
  14. Emil has been my "numero uno" for many years. I admire every single one of them, bar none, but Emil is pure box-office. Such a shame that for the last 12 months he has suffered so much. Soon, the sun will shine on you again, young man. Have faith. They just switched straight over after heat 13 of the first meeting, so we had to do "nowt" Glad you've got it now.
  15. Take care. Till the next time. Alan. So we switch to the big boys I think that meeting does not hang in the balance!
  16. Meanwhile , back to the racing. 5 1-5s and we will have a nail biting draw. Is the young Drabik related to Slavomir by any chance? Ouch! Nasty one. Hope he is okay.
  17. Your prayers are answered mate. Never forgotten the sheer joy of lusting after Agnetha from ABBA, who I believe was once voted "Rear Of The Year". She got my vote at any rate.
  18. I thought that lad Bober was going to bin it- and he did! Not a white-liner methinks. Karen, just off to work, sends her regards. As she says "It's when you stop looking that i'll worry"
  19. Sopcast Channel-96704 running just fine. I love the little tour of these old Polish towns. I love it's reliability. You da Sopcast man! True speedway. Not a glamorous stadium by any means, but the locals are out to support their team. Similar sized track to Swindon. Blast away guys
  20. Cor blimey. Breakfast with speedway here! 7.45am through to 3pm. No gardening or suntan on what is set to be a 25c sunny day here. I'll take the racing anytime Join you all shortly. Alan.
  21. Got to go folks as company has arrived for Easter dinner. 2.45 pm here. Join you all tomorrow for the big feast and thanks for the company. Take care. Alan.
