Swedish Elitserien 2014 Round 3
brandonbee48 replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
That the bogeyman will come and get them? Exactly the same here in the USA. Overprotective parenting? Should be the same situation in Denmark tonight as Sweden. http://kanalsport.dk/programoversigt All the best. Alan. -

I thought it was a superb meeting. Until I was told otherwise. Join you tomorrow for "lower-key" but still enjoyable, Denmark. Take care all. Alan. -

Pepe. Age and guile beat youth and exuberance. We know from your Elite League postings- that most of us on here avoid like the plague, that you are never wrong and always have the last word. As I said , we bow to your superior wisdom on all things. Alan. -

For anyone reliant ( like me!) on a stream, Sopcast -Channel -148887 is a terrific picture tonight. And of course you can brush up your Polish instead of Ermolenkoish. -

Some great racing tonight. Niels and the mighty Leon. -

Who knows ? Poland and Sweden have adopted a different business model to the UK. Many top riders no longer need or want to ride in the UK especially with the travelling involved and the lack of a fixed night because of the stadiums mostly not being owned by the speedway teams. I just know which I would sooner watch. Fair play to those who think differently. -

But they do put "bums on seats". The last 2 Elite League meetings I have watched- Eastbourne on Saturday and Lakeside last night had pitiful attendances. -

I just switched over to Sopcast - 148887 and lo and behold they were showing heat 2. About a 3 minute delay on the Eurosport UK transmission. I'll keep my mouth shut! -

How can you not love a team that has Emil and the mighty "Little Leon" at one and two. ? Of course, now I 've said that, they'll get in each others way and give up a 5-1. -

Hi all, May the Scandanavian weather gods smile upon us. I have my Ermolenkoish dictionary by my side, so let's go. -

Shh----t. The stream cut off after heat 14, just when it was getting tense. Take care all and happy speedway! Alan. -

I presume Hansen was taking the piss by doing a lap of honour with a wheelie after winning heat 14. The Bees fightback begins with a 3-2. -

I would estimate that there are about 300 or so spectators. -

Watching the stream and I have no idea how this can do anything positive for speedway's (already dented ) image. Just imagine a first timer at this. Amateurish and sad. Alan. -
Take care all, I need a stiff drink to steady my nerves after such a thrilling meeting. Alan.

Kelvin "It's not the greatest of action out on the track" You don't say mate.
-
Good job you said that. I'd get arrested.
-
I'm on the official stream which has been absolutely perfect. Unlike the meeting.........
-
After peacefully yawning through this with no commentary, Nigel and Kelv are now on board, so thrills it is from hereon.
-
"Word is that all tickets will have gone today".... Someone is telling porkies bigtime.

BSI and their apologists never admit to doing the slightest thing wrong. It's always "outside forces" at work.
-
Beforehand you might have fancied both Greg and Niels for a podium spot. Looks unlikely tonight to say the least. Chris Harris looking a tad better.
-
Just like being there. All the noise and PA but no commentary. No problem at all. As you know I;m usually listening to Polish or Danish or Ermolenkoish. Seems to have been a bit of pre-meeting B/S going on. I'm utterly shocked!!
