  1. loving listerning the cross feed on the commentry during the gap in meetings, like listerning to medium wave radio back in the day, showing my age there.,
  2. Torun possible would have won on agregate, but giving the red card finisheed the meeting off, can't believe a team should be punnished so strongly. Maybe the rider should have missed one race but not the rest of the meeting. can't be good for the sport only having 3 riders in a race
  3. enjoying the coverage on speedwaytv but i'm never going to complain about how long a meeting takes to run at Brandon again, but i guess when you have 16,000 in the crowd you want them spending money in the bars, shops etc.
  4. Going on the average points scored from the GP each rider has complete (so that taking out Darcy 0 score in Gothenburg and Tia's score of 7 in Cardiff. The averges are Tai Woffinden completed 9 meetings, total points 127, ave 14.111 Darcy Ward completed 6 meetings, total points 78, ave 13.000 Emil Sayfutdinov completed 9 meetings, total points 114, ave 12.666 Chris Holder completed 7 meetings total points 82, ave 11.714 Jaroslaw Hampel completed 10 meetings, total points 112, ave 11.200 Total on average if 10 GP'S completed Tai Woffinden 141.11 Darcy Ward 130 Emil Sayfutdinov 126.66 Chris Holder 117.17 Jaroslaw Hampel 112 Total on average if 12 GP'S completed Tai Woffinden 169.332 Darcy Ward 156 Emil Sayfutdinov 151.992 Chris Holder 140.568 Jaroslaw Hampel 134.4 Not sure what this proves other than maybe i have too much time on my hands.
  5. Sad news indeed, I always remember him popping up on Soccer Saturday with reports of a goal at places like Brighton or Southampton. He always sounded twice as loud as the other reporters. He may not have been as clipped or precise as some reporters but his enthusiasm and passion could never be questioned. Today to many commenter's show false emotion and seem almost scripted, Sometimes old school is best. R.I.P
  6. One of the most hilarious (serious) posts I've read on here in a long time and trust me there been a few contenders. Honestly didn’t you read it back to yourself before you posted it? As I’m out dogging most evenings I don’t get to watch the speedway coverage live I record it and watch it later, over the past few seasons I normally wiz thought the coverage in about 45 minutes. But both last week and this I watched the whole programme, in my opinion SKY have up’d there game and hopefully don’t seem like a company about to pull out at the end of the season. As for eurosport its great they have the GP’s and the NZ GP was excellent but I’m not judging them after just one meeting practically as the coverage they get for GP'S is pretty much the same as sky have had or would have got anyway.
  7. Excellent news that the GP / SWC are on Eurosport, (Sorry going off subject a little) I cancelled my sky sports package in October but will be renew soon to get the EL coverage. But I’m not renewing until after the Melbourne F1 GP don’t won’t them thinking I’m renew for the F1 Borefest. F1 was exciting when I was about 12 years old, but now 2 hours of watching cars whizzing around a track waiting to see which ones will breakdown, doesn’t do it for me. (Note to some F1 teams if going to spend millions on a car at least try to make one that can do 200 miles before spluttering to a stop, my 12 old citroen saxo can make 200 miles no problem.)
  8. As long as Birmingham's first fixture isn’t away at Halifax …. …..
  9. Of course Chris Harris will be in the GP’s next year after all he finished equal fifth last season far ahead of both N.Pedersen and A.Jonsson,.who were both invited back. Added to the fact he’s the only Brit. It’s bound to happen that Chris will be back in 2012 and maybe that’s the problem as Britain’s number 1 he’s sitting there in the comfort zone ?for one more season at least?
  10. Cheers thanks for clearing that up R and R. Not for the first I find that speedway flip-flops from one rule to another, surely in future the GP Qualifiers should be run along the same lines as the actual GP’s.
  11. Still don’t know why it’s deemed 6 from this round qualify, and even less understanding of why there was a race off, Surely Gustafsson was 3rd in the meeting as he had 3 race wins as did Gołubowskij, but Gustafsson beat Gołubowskij in there match up in heat 20, that’s how they decide tthe top 8 in a GP there’s no need for a race off.
  12. Just a little confused as I’m surprised there was a race off I’d have thought they would have gone with most race wins or a case of who beat who in each heat to choose the qualifiers. With the race off does this mean KK qualifies 3rd and Hans is placed 6th (left waiting for wildcard) or has Hans beaten KK because they both have one race win but Hans beat KK in there match up in heat 7 Also a interesting heat 20 result a touch of Swedish team riding maybe?
