So frustrated to learn that potentially UK speedway in 2015 misses out on some of the greatest Aussie talent yet again. See speedwaygp.com as Speedwaygb.co seems to run away from controversy once again. To survive we need the likes of Holder, Doyle, Batchelor and hopefully Doyle to frequent the racing circuits of the UK. Plus hear that several premier league riders are now falling foul too ! What a mess - does the union flag mean nothing anymore ? Not happy days !

In my opinion the fast track has been fantastic in order to provide Team gb riders of the near future - rather than the normal progression. Newman, Garrity and Worrall have provided great entertainment and show great potential. one of the better decisions of Gb speedway hierarchy over the last few years in my eyes. however do appreciate those teams where the fast track has not worked and would rightfully reject my smug enthusiasm.

Here I go - no doubt seen as another pathetic post from me - but where coventry need to be in 2015 as far I am concerned. Harris Howarth Garrity amazing trio - would love the future world champion Kyle Newman ( an amazing talent and just you wait 5 years after which you can ridicule me galore ) but am confident for the kid. max Fricke Fast track reserves. olly greenwood and james Sargeant And finally the big one - Mr Tai Woffinden - Needs the amazing coventry support to give him the confidence to progress and become world champ again in 2015. Could become one of the Coventry all time greats. Ok - probably seen as a reckless post by many, but if Tai is going to race in GB in 2015, where else would he be hero worshipped ! british speedway needs Tai - more than Tai needs British speedway - gone too stale at Wolverhampton. Come on - make it happen !!!! Happy days (potentially) mark

my original post was detrimental to Cradley fans - so sorry !

Tell you what - had enough of this rubbishe - Eastenders about to start which I ain't seen for years. British speedway -rot in hell ! blame the Russell brothers for this bol*oc* - the current day Kray twins Hope you happy with yourselves Ronnie (now there is a coincidence !) and the other one, Terry.

Prior to last night had always had a high regard to mr Kelvin Tatum - having watched back the meeting on sky today and hearing his observations and comment on what he saw, that opinion is No More. reckon he still holds a grudge against Coventry for them getting rid of him all those years ago. he was just average all those years ago and now below average as a summariser !

An absolute blessing to Coventry that meeting called off when it did. What an absolute let down from too many riders - Anderson, what a shocker - has he a pre contract arrangement for Poole in 2015, cus there was no effort from the guy tonight. Ben tried, but wrong time to come back. Hansen got points, but mainly gifted to him. can't understand why so much faith put in him by the coventry management - he has struggled for far too long. Garrity played second fiddle to Newman yet again. However Bomber riding like we know he can and as for Kyle Howarth, good on the lad. These two wanted it badly - don't reckon the rest did though. Looking on the bright side, I now gonna save time and money on Monday having decided not to go down to Dorset. I will still watch on Sky though. Hope I have to eat my words by 9.30 on Monday night though.

Showing my age, but "John kettley is a weather man " (look on google) is not me - but weather forecast on BBC - and without them we wouldn't have been successful in WW2 - that is the conflict in the early 1940's in Europe involving the Germans for those who ain't savvy enough to understand - for Coventry, is dry after 9.00 am. Ready and waiting for Poole or Kings Lynn and as for the result, it will be what it will be. Please please not let us roll over the championship to the first meeting of 2015 !! BRITISH speedway has become an absolute joke - more and more like wrestling every week. However can't imagine Bid Daddy or Giant Haystacks (look on google again young-uns !) being in any speedway team 1 to 7. Disgraceful ! Best month of the summer usually is July - yet Brititsh speedway bends over to the FIM to accommodate speedway World Cup. This year we lost 2 Elite league riders and 2 lower league ones (GB - and that is all that matters !) yet the sport put on hold for all Elite teams for a 2 week period - how we rueing that right now. The elite league run-in has lost more than 2 through injuries yet still tries to carry on (except for the guaranteed bad weather this time of year) Been said many times, but Speedway in Britain needs a real kick up the back side and to run by those who care about the sport - not those who benefit from the money that comes with it - Ford & Horton (not sure if it is Mick or Colin - or are they the same person !) spring to mind. There are some real "heroes" on this site who could provide opinion / knowledge and understanding as to what is required. (That counts me out !) in order to keep this fantastic and entertaining (sometimes !) sport going onwards. Phillip Rising - use you influence and contacts to make something happen. happy days !

Poole Speedway 2014 Elite League Champions !
markyb replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You completely wrong - I ain't got 2 massive chips on my shoulders - where Poole speedway are concerned I got loads more than just just 2 (allegedly !!). So what happens Wednesday evening when the meeting called of for a third time. will it be down to a coin toss - if so am sure Mr Ford will provide the "lucky" double headed coin. -
Poole Speedway 2014 Elite League Champions !
markyb replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tut tut ! Have I touched a nerve. - what a shame ! Had Coventry not got in their meetings before cut off and not made the play-offs can't imagine that Mr high almighty Matt Ford would have allowed leniency - of course not. As to me being anti-Poole - holy moly of course I am ! would be great to see Middledich and Ford perform on a level playing field - no chance of that unfortunately. A word of caution however for Mr Ford - might be worth you arranging to sell back unused fireworks to you supplier later in the month - or even sooner if and when Kings Lynn come to town. Happy days ! Yawn ! time for bed Zebedee ! -
reckon already set up for Poole to win the 2014 Elite league speedway title Goal posts moved yet again to accommodate those who can (allegedly) provide back handers to ensure the "mighty" Dorset cliche achieve their aim. speedway by definition is, a summer sport, yet we in the Uk go through the month of July almost without any action whatsoever and endure this same rubbishe in October that we we always have to. What happens if the weather keep playing up during October and November - we could end up with a semi final on Christmas Day with a 2014 champion established on New Year's Eve ! To may mind, Poole should have lost their semi final 75 - 0 - okay through non-participation, but at least provides an outcome and tough of them - maybe next time they run the "home" meeting first. It alleges in some circles that this a professional sport - what an absolute joke ! Come on - shoot me down in flames - I'm expecting it happy days
-
Yet again speedway bends over backwards to Poole speedway Ok, unfortunate that tonight's meeting does not go on - so is a precedent set that if the team can't go ahead, they have another chance. could end up the the semi final is raced Christmas Day and the final on New Year's Day. The sport is being run by absolute arseholes who bow to whoever pays the right money to keep them sweet. Absolute joke. So impressed with the guys at Belle Vue (an absolute credit to the sport) in what they trying to achieve tell you what - Poole pirates to win the 2014 speedway league - but only through deceit and cheating. This is supposed to be a summer sport and we go through a month of July where bugger all happens because of a World Cup. Britiish speedway "bosses" hope you happy ! Cant believe sky sports have been hoodwinked to the rubbish the "authorities' provide. (Not so ) Happy days At the end of the day, who cares - sad as it sound I DO !
