  1. Will the play off finals be on October 3rd & 10th ?
  2. I see where you're coming from, but not sure it applies in Czechia - I attended the 4th and final round of the 2009 Czech Play Offs in Prague on Monday 5th October, which was raced under the 4TT format Three of the four teams (Pardubice, Slany and eventual winners Mseno) could win the title that night, but a very low crowd of approx 250 - 300 turned out to watch the meeting ! There were acres of empty seats in the Marketa Stadion that night ! Maybe the crowd would have been bigger if Prague could have won the title !
  3. I agree, but do question the need for Play Offs, especially the semi final stage, in a 5 team league ! Why not just have a two legged Play Off Final, if you must have Play Offs at all in such a small league ?
  4. Vildeho – Slaný + 125 ccm dodatečně – Volný závod juniorů – Divišov 04. 09. 2010 – Volný závod – Svitavy It does appear that the Extraliga has changed its race format, from the previously used 4TT format, to the format currently used by the Danish League ( Team v. Team, 5 riders per team) Despite the league only containing 5 teams, Play Offs will be used, with teams already having pencilled in possible dates on which to host their leg of the Semi Final & Final, if they reach that stage. Potentially, there is an action packed week for fans, especially any fans making the trip from overseas : 29. 09. 2010 – (Possible Extraliga Play Off Final) Praha 01. 10. 2010 – Zlatá stuha / Golden Band – Pardubice 02. 10. 2010 – Finále MS juniorů / World Under 21 Final – Pardubice 03. 10. 2010 – Zlatá přilba / Golden Helmet– Pardubice 04. 10. 2010 – Czech Championship Final – Praha 06. 10. 2010 – (Possible Extraliga Play Off Final) Pardubice One other notable date is the 6th September staging of the Lubos Tomicek memorial meeting in Prague, which now seems set for an annual staging on the first weekend of September, rather than the long used day of the Monday following the Czech Golden Helmet. EDIT 25th November : Petr Moravec has posted the new Extraliga format on www.zlataprilba.cz Team A (Home Team) - Č- Red, M – Blue (Numbers 1 - 6) Team B (Visiting Team) B – White Ž - Yellow/Black (Numbers 7 - 12) 5, 6 & 11, 12 – U-21 Jízdy / Heat 1. 5Č 11B 6M 12Ž 2. 1Č 7B 2M 8Ž 3. 10B 3Č 9Ž 4M 4. 11B 2Č 8Ž 5M 5. 3Č 9B 1M 7Ž 6. 8B 4Č 10Ž 2M 7. 5Č 11B 3M 9Ž 8. 10B 4Č 7Ž 1M 9. 2Č 8B 3M 9Ž 10. 4Č 10B 5M 11Ž 11. 7B 5Č 8Ž 4M 12. 2Č 11B 1M 10Ž 13. 9B 1Č 7Ž 3M 14. 5. Thread already here - http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=51150 http://www.speedway-prague.cz gives two choices, Ticketstream and Ticketportal. Never used Ticketstream, but I ordered online from Ticketportal, and received a "real" ticket four days after I ordered, no e-vouchers involved or anything. Definitely impressed with the service from Ticketportal.
  6. But Harris isnt new blood... Neither are Lindgren or Andersen come to that, but I do feel that Fredrik and Hans' inclusion as permanent wildcards / seeded riders is warranted... Including Darcy Ward and Eddie Kennett would have been new blood...
  7. Simply because he has had a better season than Chris pretty much in the UK, Sweden and Poland, which is just about everywhere ! If not Lee, then I would have given Kennett the nod over Chris, just cant see Chris having a better GP season in 2010 than in 2009. Hope I am wrong, but just cant see it at all !
  8. For once, I agree with Steve ! Obviously a political decision to chose Chris Harris, to make up the two "token Brits", but, surely to god, Lee Richardson was more deserving of the second British nomination rather than Chris ?!?
  9. Peter Moravec has confirmed on the ZP Pardubice website that the first weekend in October 2010 will see the club stage three meetings : Friday 1st October - Zlata Stuha (AKA Junior Golden Helmet) Saturday 2nd October - World Under 21 Final (3rd of the three final rounds) Sunday 3rd October - Zlata Prilba (Golden Helmet)
  10. Yes, I got a seat I was happy with, and I can confirm that, at least on the day that I bought my ticket, Ticketportal were selling seats in the main grandstand by the start grid
  11. I did not click on SGP site... I clicked on the links available on the Prague club site, www.speedway-prague.cz Had a choice of Ticketportal or Ticketstream. I chose Ticketportal...Job done :)l
  12. Have been for a while, Badge... I ordered mine from www.ticketportal.cz on 26th October, it was posted on 27th October, and I received it on 31st October, irrespective of the postal strikes
  13. Officially ? my GUESS is after the FIM Congress, which is sometime in November I believe
  14. Sportowefakty are reporting that Bydgoszcz will stage final round of the 2010 series, probably on October 9th... With all these little snippets coming out here and there, BSI / IMG may as well hurry up and announce things officially...
  15. May 2nd 2010 is a Sunday... May 22nd 2010, the date advertised in the Czech Golden Helmet programme, is a Saturday...
  16. Pete living the jet set lifestyle, eh UK, Croatia, and maybe Czecho in three days...Piece of Cake LOL
  17. Pete, Are you / Can you make it to Pardubice for the Golden Helmet the following day ?
  18. The Vargarna track, Krakvilan, is VERY similiar to Brough Park.... Been there a few times, had some good times in Norrkoping....
  19. I expect so, Rob, as he is not in the line up for the Cumberland Open at Workington tonight
