Last year it didn`t even have permanent floodlights- looking at the photo`s which were published of the work creating the track it just seemed to be one last minute rush !!

I`m not- the FIM certainly have responsibilities -however I`m not sure the FIM have a responsibility to the punters who buy the tickets-in that regard in my opinion that starts(and stops) with BSI. This weekend`s meeting would be a perfect opportunity for BSI to make a decision whether Riga is capable of holding a GP in 2016 by being there -even if someone is sat in the stands along with the paying public.

The trouble is one can not really separate BSI`s involvement in certain tracks only from the whole series -BSI are the rights holders-they sell the TV contracts for the series. it`s them sub-contracting meetings out and then bearing no responsibility if things go wrong. Punters were seriously out of pocket because of last years fiasco.

Slighly different in Cardiff this week though Philip- BSI are obviously interested in that track !!! (FIM said nothing to do with us guv !!!).

However Humph, after last years debacle with many fans dissatisfied with the sudden move to Daugavpils strange that someone from BSI isn`t going to take a look first-hand at the 1st meaningful meeting at the track since, especially if in 2016 the Latvian round is back in Riga-after all out Saturday-back Sunday would hardly break the bank !!!!

Just caught up with the match having watched British Eurosports 1 hour programme shown last night at 11pm-WHAT A BUNCH OF TO$$ERS they really are In the 1hour programme they cut out heats 3,5,6 and 7 leaving 11 minutes of racing in an hour. just what is going on with Kasprzak - 1 point in Sweden last night riding at reserve in a home match !!!

Steven-this is what I posted yesterday on the other Swedish thread Tomorrow`s Swedish league match Smederna v Piraterna is on British Eurosport 2 at 11pm in a 1 hour programme (live on Eurosport in Europe) What are you asking ?- if it`s why aren`t british Eurosport showing Swedish Speedway LIVE every Tuesday evening at 6pm- then you will have to ask them-however they only have 2 channels and at this time of year Tennis, cycling Football etc are all more important to them than Speedway. I do believe the LIVE coverage is returning shortly.
