  1. Yawn you might !! but it`s hard to judge who is more incompetent- Redcar Speedway or the referee ?? In my opinion Redcar Speedway just !!!!
  2. They did at Peterborough a couple of years ago-illegal guest for a missing rider with +5% added to his average which should have only been used for home riders
  3. But you should be saying the referee typed in the correct averages in his scorecard on the 2nd but the ref on the 9th didn`t however we knew that several days ago-we have only just found out that Redcar used incorrect averages in their programme 2 weeks running !!!!! With Eric talking a load of c*ap-it was probably the best place for the meeting
  4. Nothing to do with the BSPA-the spreadsheet s you link to through the BSPA website are the official SCB referees scorecards-Michael Breckon obviously filled in the correct July averages for the Scunny match, whereas Dave Dowling in the Somerset match cocked up and used the June averages printed in the programme instead of the correct July`s
  5. Just had a call from someone who was at the Scunny match on the 2nd and the averages were wrong in that programme as well !!!
  6. Now confirmed 1 hour highlights at 9.30pm on British Eurosport tomorrow of Smederna v Rospiggarna
  7. Indeed-however I suspect in this instance the same June averages were also in the 2nd July programme as well as the 9th. Certainly Michael Breckon`s spread sheet score card-linked on the BSPA website shows the correct July Averages.

  9. It would be interesting to know if the wrong averages were in the Redcar programme on the 2nd July for the Scunthorpe match ? and if they were did the referee Michael Breckon not mention the error to the home Promoter / team manager.
  10. I fully agree about the last sentence-and I hope my suggestion in post 106 is considered as I don`t think the "green sheets" are as clear as they should be. This is probably a good time to recount a funny story. A few years before I became a team manager I was just a Racers supporter writing bits and pieces in the programme but I was always interested in the rule-book. I was at Sheffield one night to watch the Racers and Bill Dore was team managing them at the time. I was stood looking into the pits when Bill came along and told me that Sheffield-Eric Boocock and Maurice Ducker had changed ther line-up late -I can`t remember the exact details however I knew they couldn`t do what they were trying to do legally. Bill said follow me-so I jumped over the fence and in the Gent`s toilet, the ref ,me Eric and john Davis the Racers captain had a rules meeting with the ref agreeing with me(the punter) that Sheffield were trying to pull a fast one ! Obviously the evening had a happy ending with the Racers winning. Not in the least-but there are code of conduct fines for all sorts of things-and believe me A match on the 9th July using June averages is a major cock-up(as the SCB has rightly said).
  11. One slight difference Rob- I believe the Reading Team Manager was heard to say " they can`t do that" but was too late to stop it prior to the race-and immediately protested at the race conclusion.
  12. I`m not certain the Redcar team manager was telling "the truth and nothing but the truth" in his account of the pre-meeting discussion. If there were any queries about the RR and Kus eligibility it surely would have been checked. Spelling now edited -wrong word altogether .
  13. Surely this situation should be classed as bringing "speedway into Disrepute" - after all we are talking about a match taking place on July 9th exactly a week after Redcar hosted Scunthorpe where the correct July averages were applied. Redcar should be fined a substantial sum and the referee should be suspended for 28 days.
  14. Whilst I don`t agree with the SCB decision , at least they have explained the situation in full. moving on here is a suggestion for the BSPA/ SCB. When the new months green sheets are issued around about the 3rd week of the month(24th June it was for July) JUST include the averages appertaining to the NEW month- AND MAKE THAT VERY CLEAR-because at the moment the June`s averages are there(column A) with the Junes +5%(column C) with July sandwiched in-between. So that would result in much clearer paperwork June`s average`s would be only on one issue( obviously further changes appertaining to the particular month could be issued as now) and then July`s would then only be on one issue(plus subsequent changes during the month as now) Edit to illustrate the change suggested above I find it interesting that in Graham Reeves statement he doesn`t mention the July average issue 16 but issue 18(June 29th) and issue 19 (3rd July). Issue 19 was only done for the Peterborough change and therefore is not the norm.

  19. Been away so would like to add a further 2 pennies worth. If the SCB do nothing about this cock-up-then they are a joke !! If the July greensheets issue 16 dated 24th June caused any problem(no-way should have done) with the riders for July not in average order-this was sorted with the issue 19 dated 3rd July where riders are in Average order and clearly show Kus ineligible to take a RR ride for Graversen. this Green sheet was issued a full 7 days before the match took place. In order to show that british speedway has still a bit of credibility left 1 the result should be altered to minus the points scored by the illegal ride or 2 The match should be replayed. As for discussions prior to the match about the RR facility -didn`t anyone have the gumption to look at the July green sheets -good team managers have them with them at all times !!
  20. Napoleon would be no good- he doesn`t know his ar$e from his Elba
  21. Stop blaming the ref- are you mad !!! the one and only person ultimately responsible for the cock-up is the ref.
  22. I assume you will be putting more miles on the car-why not do Landshut or Mseno on the way on Friday 31st
