  1. Polish media are reporting that Russia will be at full strength for this seasons competition with the Laguta brothers and Emil reaching an agreement with the Russian federation.
  2. I would have thought start time on a Sunday would be anytime between noon and 2pm - although if off in Slovenia it better be 9 am or else there will be trouble 😃
  3. Latest info from Sportowefakty on how the team line-ups will be Extraleague http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/570840/sklady-druzyn-pge-ekstraliga-2016 Nice Polska league http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/571313/sklady-druzyn-nice-polska-liga-zuzlowa-2016
  4. Also wonder if in Poland Orange sport will get the contract for the Swedish league if Eurosport exit-Orange sport previously held the contract.
  5. If I understand the question right- canal+sport show the GP`s,N sport show the extraleague, TVP sport show Nice Polska league(div 1 ) and occasionally Polsat sport show something.
  6. One Sport have said that the 3 wild-cards will not be named this season until after the SEC qualifying final in Olching on May 26th. 7 riders qualify from this meeting to the 4 finals.
  7. Doesn`t matter when riders are signed as long as it`s before the start of the season and accepted by the BSPA- they will get the same facilities as any other teams 1 to 7
  8. Advance notice that we are back for a 4th year, and thanks to the generosity of 2014 winner Hilly and last season Maverick 88 the BEN fund and Darcy Ward fund respectively have had the winners prize donated to them. After a profitable trading year, I have decided to be ultra generous and give everyone some more money to play with-so it`s now £400 to start with. RULES Each contestant MUST place bets in all 11 rounds-in the event of having no money left they are out of the competition Each player starts with £400. MAXIMUM BET PER GP IS £200.minimum bet per GP is £20(or total balance if less than £20) minimum bet per rider is £10. If a rider is injured before a round starts then the bet is voided on that rider, or bets can be amended upto the meeting start time. If a rider starts a meeting but is injured and cannot continue THE BET STANDS but any points scored by the reserves count towards the injured riders score. If any rider is excluded for a starting offence the reserve points scored do not get added. To ensure fair play bets for the final round may be required to be PM`d to me instead of normal posting. If a meeting is called off at heat 16 then the spread will be adjusted to 4/5th`s of the original. If a meeting is called off at or after 20 heats the spreads stand. HOW TO PLAY One must bet on a rider to score MORE OR LESS than the spread-the HIGHER figure is taken for MORE bets and the LOWER for LESS bets-the mid between the two is what I expect them to score-and they add up to 138 which is the total points available in a GP EXAMPLE These might be 3 of the spreads for the 1st GP of the season Woffinden 12 - 14 Harris 3 - 5 Zmarlik 5 - 7 Player 1 might think Woffy will score more than 14 in Slovenia so bets £100 MORE. If Woffinden scored 16 he would win (16-14=2) X £100 which is £200. If he scored 10 he would LOSE (14-10=4) X £100 which is £400 and he would be out of the competition. Player 2 might think Bomber will score more than 5 and bets £200 MORE Harris scored 7 so wins (7-5=2) X £200 which is £400. If he scored 3 he would LOSE (5-3=2) X £200 which is £400 and he would be out of the competition. Player 3 might think Zmarlik will find it hard away from Gorzow and bet £200 LESS than 5. if he scored 3 he would win (5-3=2) X £200 which is £400. however if Bartosz had a stormer and scored 10 he would LOSE (10-5=5) x £200 which is £1000 and he would be out of the competition. I might be a bit stupid-but not completely bonkers so I will be waiting until early April to ascertain the 2016 form(especially Hampel) before posting the spreads for the 1st round in Slovenia on Saturday 30th April.
  9. 7 Polish top flight matches scheduled for Friday`s in 2016 ( 1 per week )-a big increase on 2015
  10. Nice Polish league ( div1) fixtures here http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/573796/znamy-terminarz-nice-polskiej-ligi-zuzlowej-na-inauguracje-hit-w-krakowie
  11. I have been told by BT that their Speedway coverage is definitely on the sport 2 channel.
  12. Has to be Pila as Opole along with Rawicz are the 2 rags of the league- plus Daugavpils are always competitive
  13. And the MC have to approve any changes during the season-they would veto any early change that would make the league un-competitive.
  14. Video of Leszno visiting a school to promote the team !! http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/572845/fogo-unia-leszno-grala-w-kapsle-z-kibicami-wideo
  15. All booked-Slovenia terrific country to visit. fly into Ljubljana on the Friday, leisurely drive down to Terme Catez. On the Sunday a visit to the Postojna caves on the way back to the airport.
  16. Nice Polish league(div 1 ) fixtures will be announced next Tuesday 19th January.
  17. Agree-and the poster on some of the GP threads has done plenty of driving abroad-also if driving Berlin would be an option for an airport for Zielona Gora.
  18. Poznan airport is the nearest to Zielona Gora- buses leave from airport to Poznan regularly. trains from Poznan to ZG take about 1hr 50 mins.
  19. I am assuming you wrote Ronnie but meant Terry ! - it certainly was a short lived experiment. I should imagine the promoters did agree to give it the go ahead but whether they were aware that anyone with just a small amount of money in an account could watch is conjecture. Maybe they thought that anyone betting on a particular race could watch that race.
  20. In their naivety the promoters however did see the £ signs in the Go speed / betting industry contract in 2014.
  21. 26 min video from sunday`s match Auckland Rhinos v Canterbury Comets http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/572102/tak-scigaja-sie-nastepcy-ivana-maugera-zobacz-mecz-ligi-nowej-zelandii-wideo
  22. Not officially being announced until tomorrow-but Rybnik will hold final SEC round on September 17th -according to Polish sources. Also an interesting interview on Sportowefakty with One sports Jan Konikiewicz regarding the SBPC speedway best pairs in which he states that they have been forced by the FIM to stop using national teams from 2016-hence the change to "sponsors " named teams such as Fogo and Nice http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/571992/runela-koncepcja-sbpc-wladze-fim-wymusily-zmiany
  23. One minute you say it`s no-ones business apart from the 2 promotions what the figures are-and in the next breath say you would love to know how much/what the stumbling block is !!!!!!
  24. I will do my best, however you will need to do a bit yourself. 1 check out where Ryanair and Wizzair fly to in Poland- and Easy jet fly to Krakow 2 the internet will tell you what airports are nearest to which towns 3 I find http://www.bahn.de/p_en/view/index.shtml best for train times in Europe. Certainly you have plenty of choice with Wroclaw riding in Poznan. Torun and Grudziadz not far from Bydgoszcz. Gorzow and Zielona Gora near each other in the west of the country. Leszno near Poznan/Wroclaw and Rybnik and Tarnow in the south.
