With a week to go in the regular season we know who the 2 finalists are in the NICE POLSKA league 18th September Daugavpils v lodz 25th September Lodz v Daugavpils The winner goes to the Extraleague and the loser meets Leszno in the Relegation/promotion play-off (2nd and 9th October) Could be all a bit off a waste of time as Daugavpils have been refused entry to the Extraleague for at least 2 years I believe and possibly more. Therefore Lodz might get asked to join Extraleague even if they lose to Daugavpils. As for lodz or Daugavpils beating Leszno over 2 legs is just laughable !!!! My summary of the Nice Polska season is that it`s been a bit of a disaster- last winter caused a load of problems with teams going bust and being refused league licences for 2016- leaving not enough teams for 3 polish leagues- hence the 11 teams in the league. However Opole and Rawicz riding home matches only( and against each other) has been pathetic, both suffering numerous heavy beatings. Hopefully this winter will bring better news with teams like Ostrow, Lublin Gniezno and Poznan returning to league action along with re-vamped Swietochlowice in 2017.
