Further statement today about Brovst(translated) Nordjysk Elite Speedway has unfortunately chosen to withdraw from the remaining matches in the speedway league this year. The decision has been taken on the basis of the financial situation in Nordjysk Elite Speedway. But this does not mean that it is the end of the league speedway in North Jutland, because the company behind the league team has not gone bankrupt and after a meeting on Tuesday evening, it has been decided that the team wants to return to the league in 2023. By withdrawing from the league now we ensure that we do not come out with a large financial deficit and end the season with a reasonable financial result. Brovst(Nordjysk E;ite) have pulled out of the Danish league Translated article on league website Nordjysk Elite Speedway has per today, the secretariat of the Speedway League announced that the club has chosen to withdraw from the remaining part of the season. This is happening against the backdrop of a failing economy, which is of course incredibly unfortunate for all parties involved. The club's remaining matches have therefore been cancelled, including the match against Team Fjelsted tomorrow (3/8 – 22). Work is being done to find a sportingly fair solution for the distribution of points, match bonus points and heat points for the canceled matches - an announcement will be made as soon as a solution has been found.
