  1. Thanks to Ghostwalker`s excellent Swedish 2012 thread i can answer my own question as regards Sweden. 1 u21 rider per line-up can ride anywhere in team minimum 3 rides per meeting.
  2. I agree we should have one u21 british rider in each team-obviously Poland have the 2 reserves as u21 Poles but i`m not so sure that the Swedish u21 is always at reserve.
  3. Should the Elite league here introduce a compulsary u21 British rider next season ?-I was wondering if someone could post how the rules work with the u21 riders in the top flight Polish and Swedish leagues.
  4. Sportowefakty are reporting that Leszno are hopeful that the Pawlicki brothers will ride for them in 2012 and could sign next week.
  5. Artists impression of new back straight stand which is scheduled for completion in march 2012 http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/10/20/efektowna-trybuna-w-rzeszowie-wizualizacja/
  6. Video of the crucial heat 15 from Czestochowa last Sunday. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/10/20/czestochowskie-horrory-wideo/
  7. At Prague one has to pay to see practise so maybe some competitive action would increase the punters attending.
  8. Phillip Rising has said on another thread that the staging time for the practice is possibily going to be later-6pm i think was mentioned.I have been to several over the years and i have struggled to keep awake. Someone else mentioned that the GP bikes now have transponders fitted, and that set me thinking as what could be done to improve practice for the spectator. Obiviously there`s no grid position in speedway-and the draw number doesn`t really affect the outcome to much in my opinion.however could a one flying lap(don`t want to ruin the starting area)competition be introduced with the fastest being awarded one GP point. Thoughts anyone ?
  9. Do you mean Nikki P rather than Lindgren ? ? I would counter that by saying what has Lindgren ever done in Poland-not a lot most weeks.
  10. Maybe in that case he might end up at Wroclaw with "magic "-if they can afford him !
  11. Speedwaygp.com are reporting that Thomas Gollob is staying at Gorzow for next season so it set me thinking who will be the five that miss out on getting a polish top-flight team.My guess is Harris,Bjarne Pedersen,Lindback,Lindgren and Bjerre. I am also guessing the teams might look like this. Leszno hampel Zielona Gora Hancock Rzeszow Crump Bydgoszcz Sayfutdinov Torun Holder Gdansk Ward Wroclaw Jonsson Tarnow Protasiewicz Czestochowa Nicki Pedersen Gorzow Gollob it would be interesting what our polish forum friends think will happen.
  12. Only a last race 5-1 kept Czestochowa in the extraleague-after winning in Gniezno 47-43 they lost the 2nd leg 44-46 and were 39-45 down with one race to go. Scores http://live.sportowefakty.pl/launch_speedway_3094.html
  13. Sportowefakty are reporting that Tai Woffinden has flu and has a 14 day certificate and has pulled out of Gniezno`s promotion/relagation 2nd leg match today in Czestochowa.
  14. Looks as if i have got to go to work this afternoon-so hopefully will be able to watch the TVP video during the week.this match has the potential to be one of the Polish matches of the season-i hope they manage to have a word with the ROW team manager-the one and only Per Jonsson.
  15. For the mods apologies for starting another thread for this meeting but i did try and get polskizuzel to add the date and live on tv to his thread without success match takes place at Torun and Coverage starts at 3.15pm uk time match starts 3.30pm and should be a cracking match Line ups courtesy of sportowefakty Reszta Świata 1. Greg Hancock 2. Nicki Pedersen 3. Andreas Jonsson 4. Antonio Lindbaeck 5. Chris Holder 6. Martin Vaculik 7. Darcy Ward Polska 9. Tomasz Gollob 10. Adrian Miedziński 11. Piotr Protasiewicz 12. Janusz Kołodziej 13. Jarosław Hampel 14. Maciej Janowski 15. Przemysław Pawlicki http://soccer-live.com.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport
  16. If Woffinden is not riding and has gone to Poland early for tomorrow`s match for Gniezno at Czestochowa then he ought to recieve a ban starting next season.
  17. do not panic it is tomorrow SUNDAY 16th holder and ward might be good but they cannot be in two places at once
  18. http://www.oddschecker.com/motor-sport/speedway/british-speedway/elite-league-riders-championship/winner
  19. Philip, two Questions please 1 Do BSI pay that up-front bonus to the riders ? 2 Does the world champion 2nd and 3rd recieve any payment for their success in addition to the normal GP prize money.
  20. I would have thought Nicki`s income is double that quoted. Most of the top riders are just doing Poland and Sweden alongside the GP`S-and are doing very nicely i would suggest-you only have to look at the leaked contracts of Greg Hancock and Jason Crump to confirm this-however the risks are high.
