  1. Teams have decided who they are going to race so next week we have 1st legs Tuesday 3rd September Piraterna v Smederna and Dackarna v Vetlanda 2nd legs Wednesday 4th September Smederna v Piraterna and Vetlanda v Dackarna So the seeded teams have chosen to ride at home 1st-maybe because it`s on the normal Tuesday racenight.
  2. So what are we meant to do to watch the Saturday Torun v Czestochowa ?? oh yes !! watch a Polish stream. They have mixed up the matches and times for 15th/22nd September 3rd place matches are earlier times final is later time !!!
  3. Yes-this line-up was published before last nights matches.
  4. The poster you are quoting was talking about Pavlic-and the criticism of him for not travelling all the way to the UK without knowing he was going to get a ride-no rider would turn down a GP meeting.
  5. Latest line-ups for tomorrows match Fjelsted 1 Peter Kildemand 2 Magnus Zetterström 3 Hans Andersen 4 Nicki Barrett 5 Jesper Søgaard Holsted 1 Nicki Pedersen 2 Nikolai Klindt 3 Patrick Hougaard 4 Rasmus Jensen 5 Simon Nielsen
  6. At least there shouldn`t be any scrabbling around for a stream tonight(I will be watching Premier sports as always) however my favourite has come up trumps.
  7. "In this case when Zagar withdraw he was replaced by one of the meeting reserves (Harris) from the outset. You can hardly blame Harris for saying yes when others said no ". Hi Philip it is still bugging me as to whether Buczkowski was asked on Friday to ride in the meeting-he was certainly qualified as he was in the run-off to determine the last two qualifiers in Lonigo(Zagar qualified in Lonigo)Maybe you could ask this question tomorrow-was he asked ? if not why not ?(he was in the uk Friday)
  8. Polish touts are like any other touts-always at sporting events and always got tickets.A suggestion would be to email torun to ask if the standing tickets have gone on sale yet(they might have and sold out)klub@speedway.torun.pl
  9. yes agree with most of that(I didn`t actually say any different) however with the Extraleague back to 8 teams I`m pretty sure that the straight jacket isn`t being taken off infact I think(and I could be wrong)that`s it`s being re-tightened for 2014.
  10. Actually in team strengths Sweden is the premier league and Poland Championship-and reverse it for crowds.
  11. Why are you writing such rubbish-it has already been established in the FIM rules that if someone who finishes in the top 8 of the GP also finishes in the top 3 of the challenge-then 4th in the challenge will be promoted into the GP series.
  12. Bsi cannot use Iversen`s spot as you have suggested-If Iversen finishes in the top8 Smolinski will be full time GP rider in 2014.
  13. You must be living in cloud cuckoo land if you think Foreign riders will choose to ride in Britain instead of Sweden.
  14. Smolinski certainly kept his British equipment going for the first 5 months of the season !!
  15. I was expecting a bigger crowd-disappointing I would describe it as-I was behind glass but racing was pretty dire for such an important meeting(my view you will understand) This is what I heard today - Bomber was offered number 18 which the few that were asked turned it down as they normally sit around doing nothing. The fim took the decision to ask gb to provide a No18 which Kennett and Cook turned down. Bomber grabbed it and after 2 late pull outs of first reserve Pavlic and Zagar he found himself in the meeting
  16. He was happy to take the risk of injury in a GP-however he wasn`t prepared to risk injury in the cut-throat challenge final.
  17. I feel Particularly sorry for Pavlic and Buczkowski-as both were in the run-off for 6th,7th 8 th and 9th place in the lonigo semi.Pavlic finishing in 8th with everybody thinking he had qualified until Kennett failed in the holsted semi.I can understand Pavlic not being able to drive from Croatia in time, but cannot for the life of me understand Buczkowski turning it down.Incidently Zagar qualified from lonigo so a replacement comes from the non-qualifiers there.
  18. See my post above yours-what I can tell you is that "meeting reserves" are always home federation riders.
  19. You make a very valid point(as always)as Buczkowski and Woodward to name 2 would have jumped at the chance to ride-Buczkowski in the uk last night riding-Someone could have flown over with a "polish special" engine to use Could there be a deadline in the FIM rules where after a certain number of hours before the meeting-the next in line are not used and the home federation choose the replacement ?
  20. Next action Wednesday 28th August 5.30 pm uk time Fjelsted v Holsted 2nd v 3rd followed by the big one on Friday Danish Championship 2nd leg from Holsted at 4.55 pm uk time Teams for Wednesday(don`t shoot the messenger) Fjelsted 1 Peter Kildemand 2 Magnus Zetterström 3 Hans Andersen 4 Nicki Barrett 5 Jesper Søgaard Holsted 1 Nicki Pedersen 2 Timo Lathi 3 Nikolai Klindt 4 Rasmus Jensen 5 Simon Nielsen
  21. Kasprzak is the wildcard in Gorican on September 14th-Madsen replaces the injured Puodzuks.
