It would be of interest if Go speed international`s contract for the foreign rights for the Polish extraleague has now expired ? or was it Gospeed that finally managed to get some money back from their outlay.

I think I remember reading that Speedway in Japan was on tarmac tracks and because betting was such an important aspect of the sport there, the riders were kept under lock and key for hours prior to meetings.

Leszno v Czestochowa 6 pm uk time NB if Zielona Gora match is postponed until the Sunday it will start at 3.30pm and be televised in place of the Wroclaw match Sunday April 13th other match Gdansk v Torun 3.30pm round 2 Sunday April 20th Gorzow v Leszno 6pm uk time Easter Monday April 21st Czestochowa v Zielona gora 3.30 pm uk time. Should imagine they wanted to ride on a similar track to those in Poland-fast,full gas all the way round-hence Peterborough being the orginal choice.They also presumably didn`t want a blue groove after heat 1

You are of course correct Henry- I should have posted more clearly that it was the reserve berth I was thinking about rather than the overall side. 1st match under the new Elite league heat format-any thoughts from anyone who was there.

Actually Zielona Gora were stronger than they normally are because Jablonski isn`t allowed to be at reserve in Polish league.

You really are different class-you know all about speedway at far flung outposts in New Zealand and the USA-yet Martin Vaculik had escaped you and now you are telling us about Gorican a track which has held GP`s, an under 21 final and a round of the televised European championships last season. I suppose you have never heard of Jurica Pavlic or his father .

Can`t believe how cheap the Gorzow GP tickets are this season-cheapest are £20 and ours upper stand entry to 1st bend are only £22.50.
