Hi Marky- yes done Zagreb to Krsko by train-and nearly got shot by the Croatian border control guards, who didn`t tell us to stay on the train until cleared to get off to catch a slow train from the border station into Slovenia and Krsko. train station is about a 20mins walk from the stadium.
