  2. Hi Rico, I have seen a few on the internet over the years-league matches and the big "Boleslaw the brave" meetings and have been generally disappointed with the racing.
  3. Good to see Antonio scored paid 11 in a challenge match today.http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/wydarzenie/51316
  4. Tuesday /Wednesday ain`t this weekend-no thanks for my post 152 ?
  5. Funningly enough I checked out the Kanalsport .dk website this morning and I think that they have a new set up with Danish bookmakers BET25.DK and it looks as if you now have to register to get the pictures(similar to BET365 with the Elite league coverage.) the 1st league match isn`t until the end of April so we have a bit of time to investigate-Hopefully one of our Danish forum friends will be able to give us more info.
  6. Indeed- I was even working last Monday and had to miss the demolition of Bradford. Surely the FA should have realised there was a major event in Poland that weekend before setting the date. The good news is that I can make the final when we beat those Gooners
  7. I have been shafted again !!! that £7 difference would have brought me a few drinks in Poland Are you going out on Friday? -we are on the midday (12.10) flight.
  8. What did your last servant die of Being ever helpful the answer is no-one
  9. Offical announcement that there will be 7 teams in div 1(Nice Polish league) including Bydgoszcz and only 5 teams in div 2
  10. It was a challenge between a div 1 side home to an Extraleague club after all. I`m not 100% sure but I think all the punters were charged was under £2 for a programme. Maybe better value than the mauling at Birmingham on Wednesday Sadly the hotel is now closed or was when I popped in on the way back to Poznan airport last season. They are holding the 1st meeting there of this season`s world cup-I am not convinced the racing will be upto much.
  11. I think the "first class " fare might just have been a clue to the poster not being entirely serious !!!
  12. Snap but Stansted -Modlin-bought my bus tickets online £16 for return for 2 people.
  13. The only meeting scheduled for that day(at moment) is an individual meeting at Lodz. google translation of Sportowefakty article. Eagle Speedway riders on their track will present a league match only at the end of April. Therefore, the club authorities organize a tournament where the prize for victory will be € 1,300. Eagle Boat inaugurate the season in Bydgoszcz, however League speedway stadium Street 6th August, fans will have to wait until April 26th. Therefore, the authorities decided April 19 club tournament organized individual. Interestingly enough players willing to participate are invited to apply to the club, please e-mail: klub@orzel.lodz.pl interested speedway riders get more information, but the club reserves the right to choose the cast. Another interesting feature is that the public are given awards for various places in the tournament. The winner can count on € 1,300. Witold Skrzydlewski invites players to the tournament on 19 April Prizes in the tournament: Finale 1st place - 1300 euro 2nd place - 1,100 euros 3rd place - 900 euro 4th place - 700 euro Semifinals 1-2 place - finals 3rd place - 500 euro 4th place - 500 euro Main Round 1-8 place - advance to semifinals 9-16 place - 300 euro
  14. 17 mins video of yesterday`s challenge match Gniezno v Zielona Gora here http://speedwaytv.sportowefakty.pl/13826/sparing-start-gniezno-falubaz-zielona-gora-18032015
  15. 22.20 back to Ljubljana seems to be the last train. here is a map of Krsko-from the station you go left across the bridge ,left again and the stadium is down on the left. http://www.maps-streetview.com/Slovenia/Krsko/satelliteview.php
  16. Hi Marky- yes done Zagreb to Krsko by train-and nearly got shot by the Croatian border control guards, who didn`t tell us to stay on the train until cleared to get off to catch a slow train from the border station into Slovenia and Krsko. train station is about a 20mins walk from the stadium. Have a look here for train times http://www.bahn.com/i/view/GBR/en/index.shtml Train back is 22.30-ok if meeting runs to time-looks as if you would have to leave Zagreb at lunchtime.
  17. One Sport said they were going to announce yesterday who was taking the place of Togliatti. Nothing reported as yet.
  18. Alex Harkess and the management committee I would think. they have always been consistant on these One Sport and FIM EUROPE events, as they are one competition too many for the smooth running of league speedway in GB.
  19. Sadly it appears his personal problems have returned. Google translation of Sportowefakty article Last Sunday, the Swede for the third time he was caught by the police while driving a car under the influence of alcohol. The survey found 1.51 per mille.
  20. Fearless bookmakers can be named on one hand- John banks, Freddie Williams. Well now you can add Racers and Royals to that exclusive list. I have put my head well and truly above the parapet !!!. One month to go before it all starts in the Polish capital-with no form to go on with the new silencers-here are the spreads for the Warsaw GP. Round one Warsaw Poland Saturday 18th April start time 6pm uk time Hancock 11 - 13 Woffinden 11 - 13 Kasprzak 11 - 13 Pedersen 10 - 12 Hampel 10 - 12 NKI 10 - 12 Holder 10 - 12 Zagar 7 - 9 Doyle 6 - 8 Jonsson 6 - 8 MJJ 6 - 8 Janowski 6 - 8 Gollob 5 - 7 THJ 5 - 7 Batchelor 5 - 7 Harris 3 - 5 RULES each contestant MUST place bets in all 12 rounds-in the event of having no money left they are out of the competition Each player starts with £300. MAXIMUM BET PER GP IS £200.minimum bet per GP is £20(or total balance if less than £20) minimum bet per rider is £10. If a rider is injured before a round starts then a bet is voided on that rider,or bets can be amended upto the meeting start time. If a rider starts a meeting but is injured and cannot continue THE BET STANDS but any points scored by the reserves count towards the injured riders score. If any rider is excluded for a starting offence the reserve points scored do not get added. To ensure fair play bets for the final round may be required to be PM`d to me instead of normal posting. HOW TO PLAY One must bet on a rider to score MORE OR LESS than the spread-the HIGHER figure is taken for MORE bets and the LOWER for LESS bets-the mid between the two is what I expect them to score-and they add up to 138 which is the total points available in a GP EXAMPLE player one wants £50 Hancock MORE(than 13) and £50 Jonsson LESS(than 6) Hancock scores 15 so he wins -Hancock (15-13=2 x £50=£100 and Jonsson scores 5 so he wins (6-5 =1 x £50=£50. Conversely if Hancock had a mare and scored 6 and Jonsson scored 10 he would lose (13-6=7 x £50=£350 and (10-6=4x £50=£200
