Hi, could do with some advice from those who have experience with Polish meetings please. Obviously the tickets haven't been released yet but from previous years do you know if we can buy all 4 meetings together, if not what are the chances of getting tickets for the final? Thanks in advance for any help. -
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of our beloved Dad's passing on Friday 28th October, just one month before his 98th birthday.

Cardiff 2019 Saturday September 21st
Vonny replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Thank you for your reply Watkins, we don't mind paying but thought it would be easier than parking in Cardiff , also the traffic getting out of Cardiff is a nightmare after the GP. Have taken note of your warning of speed cameras, thank you. -

Thinking of parking in Newport and getting the train to Cardiff, any advice please? -
Yes the tickets are expensive, yes the beers are over priced, and maybe the track doesn't always produce the the best racing, but I look forward to the event every year and always enjoy the racing, chatting with other speedway fans and soaking up the atmosphere in the stadium. Bring on 2018. (Must admit I do miss Nicki P, always the controversial figure and gets the crowd going)! 😉

Best wishes to Danny for a full recovery.

A big thank you to you too Andy for all your hard work in organising the day, we had a great time and of course the weather was kind to us. Dad really enjoyed catching up with his old team mates etc, we couldn't shut him up! I am looking forward to seeing the photos, also, is a dvd of the day being made? Hi Bobbath, thankyou for your comments about Dad, I seem to recall his last race was discussed here on the forum about two years ago in a Newport thread, he crashed, broke his arm and called it a day! Fortunately in spite of the injuries during his racing days, Dad enjoys good health and is pretty good for his 83 years. I will pass on your kind regards from Canada thankyou, best wishes to you, Yvonne.
