Started my 48 season with trip to Redcar suspecting what be outcome for the diamonds .losing starke before wheel was turned didn’t help r/r was not ideal.but considering we had a rider coming back after 10yrs and one back after missing most last season through injury.On top of Congreve’s first meeting in this country and Wilson dean missing a few years.I think righting this team off after one meeting is jumping the gun. The diamonds gating was not great last night apart from James wright’s when he beat Riss in heat4.If Congreve can improve has gating he score a few points as was on pace and was giving a good go in last race when fell.Didn’t really see what happened between roynon and bwd but considering how time roynon had spent injured might have been a bit silly thing to do. Well can only be upwards for diamonds and any speedway in Newcastle is better than none.
