Cool. I'd definitely buy a British league one to use, I don't see the point in filling one out for GP's even if sky get it wrong occasionally. I did however test it tonight and must say that it worked great for anyone who chooses to fill it in. I'd definitely recommend it.
Will be testing this out tomorrow. I take it that it will not pre populate the results for the meeting if I watch it delayed unless I choose to load the data?
Is there any chance a British League race card could be developed?
Thanks. I think that type of horn should be compulsory
I take it this is the first set of Polish fixtures on the new silencers? If so it doesn't appear to have affected the racing
It's my first time streaming Polish speedway and I've enjoyed it so far. Is it a 15 heat format? Does every track have that loud horn for the two minute warning?
I cringe every time they show it. I also find it ironic that Bomber is the only British person yet he doesn't have a line. It looks like Bomber stumbles when he first gets up as well!
Thankfully I was out last night so I could whiz through this on Sky+
Seemed liked they just wanted to get the 16 heats done really, not very good tbh. Luckily no one had a serious injury, hope Crump recovers quickly.B
Thanks for getting back to me.
In my opinion the riders should get a new average after every meeting apart from assessed riders. I guess the only problem with that is the advanced team declaration but I can't see that being a problem we can't overcome. Maybe this is something which can be addressed over time.
Seems a bit expensive. Mind you I've never understood why people fill in a scorecard while watching at home, sky tell you the scores often enough. Each to their own I guess.
If a rider has an official rolling average, does their average get updated in real time i.e. After each meeting. Or will the new averages be given on a monthly basis?
Thanks.
After this year Sky probably cancelled that agreement and are happy with Bomber alone. At the end of the day there isn't a second brit good enough for the GP, the exception maybe Rico.
Not sure why you feel the need to mention this as the GP's are about consistency (Loram didn't win one when he won his title), excluding the top 3 Harris made more finals and more podiums than any other rider.
Great stuff from Bomber who must have all but have booked his place in next years GP. The semi final was a close call but fortunately it went Bombers way, looked a dead heat to me.
Hopefully he can finish with a good GP and climb a couple more places!
