  1. I've never known people so obsessed with a poster. For all the crap he posts (which is funny to those with a sense of humour and not to those who take his posts as fact) he actually posts a few sensible posts and does know more than others give him credit. I'd go as far to say that if he wanted to be serious he could probably debate better than the posters still obsessed with him.
  2. No British rider is good enough for the GPs yet. I'd like to see Hampel along with 3 from Pawlicki, Ward, Vaculik, Pavlic and MJJ.
  3. I think that's because Speedway just isn't a sport that anyone notices so as long as the meeting is shown then it's job done by Sky. They may have made an exception if a Brit had won but still unlikely. I thought the racing started off brilliantly in heat 1 and 2 but died down after that with only the odd heat with anything of any note. I always feel we glorify how good it is just because it's the British GP. Holder isn't my favourite rider but he was a class above the rest of the field tonight. Bomber was most disappointing which was a shame to see. It'd have been nice for the fans who'd travelled there to have something to shout about.
  4. I see some of you have suggested Kennett but it's out of order to suggest we could end up with Klindt in return!
  5. Excellent meeting and tremendous value for money. If you didn't attend then buy the DVD. #iwasthere
  6. Why is GB vs Australia for the Ashes? I can only assume that the Aussies call them that as it has been so long since they've held the actual Ashes.
  7. I don't know why I watch this live, need to start recording them and whizzing through them. Bomber was unfortunate with the rut appearing. It was good to see Emil back in the mix and getting to the final.
  8. His heart just isn't in GB. I'd respect him more if he was honest about it. Just look at the Olympics to see what representing your country is all about.
  9. The same Tai Woffinden that really wants to ride for Australia? Good result for the Brits away from home. Glad younger riders got a chance although not under the best circumstances with Danny and Lewis.
  10. I would class him as unguarded lol. Hope Roynon and Auty put in strong performances.
  11. I sat on the back straight upper tier in 2007 and the view was great although not as good as the middle tier. Still get a decent view though imo.
  12. It hasn't but Bomo confirming it is pretty reliable considering Middlo picks the side and it's at Wimbourne Road.
  13. Shame Auty and Roynon haven't been given a chance. They'd certainly perform better than some of the selected riders. We just test and try the ones that have previously failed. I don't see how including Nicholls will help for the future either!
  14. Pawlicki ruled out according to twitter. Shame as I'd like to see him back riding here.
  15. The prices are on the previous page. Concessions are £16 and presumably someone unemployed will fall into the £20 adult category.
  16. I think Ward and Emil will both be World Champions. Don't think Holder is good enough to win it though.
  17. Looks a very good field but surely GP superstar Bunyan should be in this line up!
