Have I missed the GP you guys have been watching? This years series has been absolutely dire apart from Mallila imo.

Emil's was better and he was 19 as well (younger I believe) but lets not take away how good Darcy's debut was tonight. I certainly hope we see him in the series next year! The race with Ward, Hancock and Gollob was fantastic as was Ward's battle with Sayfutdinov.

A 3 man semi, I believe this happened 2-3 years ago when Jonas Davidsson made the semi's but was unfit to take part.

I know it's three from that list. I just don't want a lot of them into the series I don't mind Zagar and Vaculik to some extent but I don't think a lot of these will add much value!

Do we have to have three from that list?

This meeting offered so much but delivered so little. It was an average meeting at best. Darcy was the best rider on show by far and would have had a maximum if it weren't for the random raking that took place to make the outside very patchy, they seemed to rake loose dirt into random places. Vaculik and MJJ both failed to live up to the hype and Vaculik almost went into the backstraight unassisted - this almost happened in practice as well. Andersson punched above his weight in this meeting but rode very well on the day. Piotr Pawlicki is absolutely brilliant for a 16 year old and will go on to big things if he continues his progress. A couple of poor refereeing decisions to firstly not exclude Dudek when he fell after a clean pass and then to award the race - can you award FIM races? Then to allow Andersson back into the re-run of the race off was poor as he just messed the first bend up. Przemyslaw Pawlicki could have been excluded for the crash in heat 6 as I felt he moved right coming from gate 1.

Should be a fantastic meeting! I'm guessing Haines and Worrall are replacing Auty (injury) and Tarasenko's (visa). Brits look the weakest riders imo. Come on Team Pawlicki! Regarding the above posts lets not turn this into a thread about any teams.

Matt Ford builds the team, the Glaziers don't build Man Utd's team. Didn't Middlo say he hadn't heard of Andersson before he signed for Poole. I don't know if that was tongue in cheek, it didn't sound it.

And for that you should credit Matt Ford.

Depends how pedantic you wish to be over the interpretation of packed out. It was packed out in my opinion, it didn't look like a poultry farm but it was definitely pretty full.

Bomber's race with Gollob was brilliant, the atmosphere was great in the stadium after that win - only temporary mind you! I'm a big Bomber fan so it was worth the admission just to see that! I'm looking forward to the race offs. I think we have a chance, it's going to be bloody tough but I think we're capable of pulling it off.

Would have preferred Ward as a wild card as Zagar has been in the series before.

Bomber 2 Gollob 0! I won't get to say that again so thought I'd get it in quickly lol. I enjoyed the meeting with some decent racing. I wouldn't have used Nicholls last night if he had no intention of racing in the rest of it and I have no qualms with his reason for being absence either. Our slow start cost us any realistic chance of winning.

You're not the first to whine about the commentators. I don't pay for my internet to listen to idiots repeating themselves! Grrr!

I don't understand why people get so irate with the commentary. I enjoy it, they make mistakes but all commentators do. I'm just happy to watch Speedway on sky.

It was, Darcy was funny in the interview....he is starting to grow on me! If I'm honest any other team would have done exactly the same.
