  1. Sorry. Just my opinion. I probably am being harsh given his age so I've removed my comment. I'd love him to prove me wrong still of course.
  2. Shame for the rider that we let go then. Hope they get fixed up somewhere else.
  3. What an odd response. Where did I mention nationality?
  4. It's subjective. Everyone will always disagree on these matters as you can normally build a case for either rider depending on which side of the fence you sit on. I thought it was very similar to the move Holder used on Bomber in the 2010 Grand Final and I would have excluded Chris for being the cause of the stoppage. However, it's done now and adds towards a miserable 2012 season which will only get worse on the following two Monday's. Congrats to the Polish Fast Chris Holder on becoming World Champ.
  5. Epic meeting! Topped off by the M69 being closed!
  6. Loads of interest in this meeting! I think it'll be a decent meeting. Anyone know if Sam Masters will be fit to take his place?
  7. Hopefully it'll be a decent meeting. Looking forward to it! Come on Team Gb!
  8. Love or hate Nicki, he's the best character in Speedway. He'll be missed once he retires.
  9. I don't think we should really bring this back up if I'm honest. I don't like Darcy for a lot of actions he has carried out but it isn't really appropriate for discussion on a forum imo, especially one of the nature you have mentioned.
  10. Hampel and Ward are obvious Wild Cards to me. I would then pick two from MJJ, Pavlic, Vaculik, NKI(although he has never done anything at GP level and had one great domestic season), Prz Pawlicki and perhaps Woffinden will get one not based on ability. That would leave the series with no British rider which is how it should be at this current time.
  11. No British rider is good enough for the GPs yet. I'd like to see Hampel along with 3 from Pawlicki, Ward, Vaculik, Pavlic and MJJ.
  12. I think that's because Speedway just isn't a sport that anyone notices so as long as the meeting is shown then it's job done by Sky. They may have made an exception if a Brit had won but still unlikely. I thought the racing started off brilliantly in heat 1 and 2 but died down after that with only the odd heat with anything of any note. I always feel we glorify how good it is just because it's the British GP. Holder isn't my favourite rider but he was a class above the rest of the field tonight. Bomber was most disappointing which was a shame to see. It'd have been nice for the fans who'd travelled there to have something to shout about.
  13. Excellent meeting and tremendous value for money. If you didn't attend then buy the DVD. #iwasthere
  14. Why is GB vs Australia for the Ashes? I can only assume that the Aussies call them that as it has been so long since they've held the actual Ashes.
