After this year Sky probably cancelled that agreement and are happy with Bomber alone. At the end of the day there isn't a second brit good enough for the GP, the exception maybe Rico.

Pawlicki And His Average Manipulation
TrueBee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Looks strong with Pawlicki's really average of 4.00 I think Harris is on 8.08 for team building purposes, although SCB/Authorised are the Bees fans with the figures I'd also take Sweetman over Barker if he wants to stay with us. -

I was pretty sure Bjerre beat Holder from my view on the back straight. I thought Bomber would have chosen gate 1 (Red) for the final though but having looked at the wins from each gate I guess there was not much between them. Didn't hear any booing from where I was, not sure how anyone can boo that guy, as a Coventry fan watching Freddie is my guilty pleasure, congratulations to him! Bomber will win it next year! -
It will be embarrassing if KoĆodziej is not given a wild card...

We hadn't dropped a point at home since 28th June (this includes beating Poole) so why would they want to change the track to beat Poole when the riders were used to it? -

I can confirm that Starman is right, the rain watered the track! Out of interest are the programme notes at Poole this embarassing every week? In the final Middlo had a dig at Barker for not clearing the track (rightly so) but failed to mention Ward doing the same. Perhaps the programme notes could be typed after every meeting for us all to have a good laugh at! -

In fairness Zagar has the Slovenian championship. Was Sheilds not down to ride previously as well? Lakesides only had Kauko representing them. -
Ben Barker V Tai Woffinden

Or if it did even happen? If it did I am sure they aren't the first nor will they be the last. -
Not sure why you feel the need to mention this as the GP's are about consistency (Loram didn't win one when he won his title), excluding the top 3 Harris made more finals and more podiums than any other rider.

Well done Bomber! Joint 5th in the world (although the records say 6th) and only two points off 4th. A great end to a great campaign for Chris! -

Great stuff from Bomber who must have all but have booked his place in next years GP. The semi final was a close call but fortunately it went Bombers way, looked a dead heat to me. Hopefully he can finish with a good GP and climb a couple more places! -

And some of us never let it go Back to the meeting, I enjoyed my first visit to the EOES and will certainly be visiting again next season, atmosphere was great on the back straight (although they should put some bins around there to stop all the littering) but the result and meeting obviously contributed a lot to that. Impressed by both of the Poles but Buczkowski has impressed me most of the season. Good luck in the KOC. -

Sweetman wasn't riding that night actually, he would have gone through the card! -

Made my first visit to Ipswich and won't be hurrying to get back, passing was very limited even when Nicholls and King were behind they were unable to get close to Haines. Not sure why they decided to put the gate positions as a,b,c & d in the program or why they had the white helmet colour as green in the semi and the final lol I'm not sure why a couple of posters have mentioned the referee, she has got a lot of stick on here in the past but I don't think she got a decision wrong. Heat 1: Nicholls tried to cut back and fell on his own, when they got to bend 3 and the red was still not on you know it won't be all 4 back. Heat 13: Bjerre pulled a massive locker on the first bend and one of the Eastbourne riders laid their bike down to avoid it. Heat 15: Woodward made the gate and fell on his own causing others to fall. Couldn't see a problem with any of those exclusions, perhaps one race when Zengota made a flyer it could have been pulled back but it looked like he just timed it very well. -
Excellent performance by Bomber, lets hope he can continue this form for the rest of the series!

You stole that from Ricky Gervais Hopefully Bomber can get through this meeting and Madsen comes rock bottom. Would also be nice to see Stead put in a good performance. Not bothered on the others.
