I think you are talking about the GP at Coventry in 1999, where Istvan Darago left the yellow lights on during the race. Gollob missed the start and claimed a re-run in the semi's & Crump & Adams weren't too impressed. Anyway the result stood and Darago never got another GP. He was ref for an U21 final at Terenzarno a few years ago.

I clearly heard Nikki in the post match interview say "I had to put the bike down on a couple of occasions". Read into that what you will.

We went to the Leszno GP and Nikki was booed all the way through at that one too. I didn't hear any moaning from him there.

I also seem to remember AJ getting excluded by this ref at Eskilstuna the first year for touching the tapes, when I think it was Anton who touched. I seem to remember the post race interview with AJ being asked if he would change anything and his reply was "just the F*****G referee".

It wasn't a bad meeting racing wise, I think that if you have 2 teams of about the same strength and no out and out heat leader you have better meetings, unlike in GB where you have GP riders trying to team ride with conference riders.

Wifey and I went to Kumla last night & saw one of the worst refereeing we have ever seen. the 4 riders were up at the tapes with 4 seconds left on the countdown clock when Zorro´s bike burst into flames. Zorro was on blue and Robert Kosciecha was on red, Kosciecha was moved out of the way by the start marshall to put out Zorro´s bike and was then promptly excluded by the referee for not being ready at the start. If this is the level of refereeing in Sweden I dont thing we do too bad.

Having been to Rybnik from Wroclaw the route that Rico gave is the best as most of it is on the A4 motorway , so you have less chance of crazy Polish drivers hitting you head on over the wrong side of double white lines, which is what happend to me in Poznan last year.

I have found with them that they dont answer enquiry e-mails, but when I have used the booking page it has always worked & when Ive got there they have had everything correct. Its not too much hassle to phone them as like most Sloveinians speak very good English.

Here's what we did this year Megabus to London £16 Return, Eurolines to Nuremburg £80, Hire car for 4 days £100 from Nuremburg, 2 nights in apartment @ terme catez £100, 1 night in Etap in Inglostadt £28, £60 worth of petrol & a few road tolls. It cost about £500 alltogether for 2 of us & we got to see the U21 world team cup in Abensberg on the Sunday.

Was at the meeting today, meeting was won and lost on a chain snapping on Danny Kings bike. The boys all rode really well today and no one would have done any better.

Just been reading the rules of the stadium, I was just wondering how many blood tests they do at the turnstyles Generally, any visitor with a blood alcohol concentration level of more than 0.16 will be refused entry to the VELTINS-Arena.

I think he's got himself a pit crew second to none with Norrie Allen & Brian Andersen & this has helped him in the GP's. If you have the speed in your equipment then its down to the skill and commitment and Chris has plenty of that.
