On average you'd pay £6-7 admission for Ekstraliga.About £5 for Liga 1 and 2.

What I can't understand Deano,is why it has taken you so long to make that maiden trip to Polska! I'll be surprised if you ever attend another meeting in the UK after your experiences of last weekend!

So many unanswered questions on this thread.Personally,I've had an absolute belting night in the Black and Gold Club while it pissed down all around me!!So good to catch up with some of the Premier Leagues finest supporters(and riders) .Also handed a re-admission ticket by one of the nations finest as they are unable to attend the re-arrangement fixture on Monday evening, whilst being chauffeur driven to and from my holiday cottage. -
Very sad to hear the passing of a speedway icon.God bless Malcolm Simmonds.

Depends how long you've been in the sauna with only a fig leaf to cover your knackers!

Could well be true Dave.I've never seen HT at a speedway meeting wearing proper trousers. Same could be said for his footwear attire too!

The Brewhouse (was it called The Ship a few years ago?) at the far end of the High St is a class boozer, and Pirate Nick used to work there too.

Recommendations for a few before heading to Newcastle Speedway would be Cumberland Arms,Free Trade Inn and Cluny, all in Byker and all real ale pubs.

The Victoria. Is it still there?Hansons Mild was a beer to leave home for,and the cheese and onion cobs were a treat too!

Which is the best track you have been to? Bydgoszcz - When they get track prep.right, the speedway action there is superb. Ostrow - Sensational speedway track (just ask Peter Karlssons' view on ul.Pilsudskiego) Which is the worst track you have been to? Armadale(apparently it's called speedway racing!! ).Apologies to any Monarchs supporters by the way. Wroclaw-I saw a rider lose his life there. Which has the best food you have tasted? Scunthorpe -Home-made steak pie(recommended by Mick Bratley ) takes some beating. Dudley Woods' - Pork and Stuffing Sarnies.Absolutely bostin!! Which has the worst food you have tasted? Economy burgers at Stoke, which I actually refused to let my dog eat! In terms of facility's ie toilets, seating, access which is the best place you have visited and worst? The best:-Torun.Does any regular speedway venue come close to the MotoArena? The worst:-Stoke.A work colleague of mine painted the ceiling in the bar 30 years ago,and it has been touched since!

ZG bought over a delegation of club officials to look at track preparation back in 2010 as the club were looking into staging a GP.They were at the U21s World Team Cup at Rye House, but after witnessing the track after 4 heats, most of them ended up in the Rye Tavern next door!! -
