  1. Cheers for the link regarding LT memorial meeting as I'll be in Praha on that date and am staying within walking distance of Marketa Stadium.
  2. Looking forward to the whole weekend as i've never been to a ZP before.Haven't had my flights cancelled by Ryanair as yet.
  3. Gardening Today with Bob Price and Cyril Fletcher would give them a run for their money!
  4. Attention to the Dorset Knob(lovely biscuits by the way!!).Can you give us the result of heat 15 at Blunsdon Stadium tonight please?
  5. Thought that was a myth? On my speedway visits North of the Border I always thought it was the other way around.Never had an empty glass!!
  6. I'm finding your reply a difficult one to keep a straight face!! There was no embarrassment or apology from the Dark Lord concerning his actions either!!
  7. Really Sarah? That fanny(am I doing fannies a disservice here?)got on my train at Rugby and attempted to travel without paying(wearing his BSPA jacket and tie too!!).Good job I'm pretty easy going and knew who he was,as if it had been one of my colleagues he'd have a criminal record for fare evasion!!
  8. There was also a ding-dong between the two of them in a Bydgoszcz hotel in 2010 before the GP
  9. Sure is Trevor!Really like NRL(plus live State of Origin games) and NHL coverage they offer, plus the Rugby League World Cup later this year.
  10. There's a deal just been offered on Premier Sports for Sky customers only(viewing card required).£25 for 12 months. Here's the link http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/12-months-premier-sports-for-25-2694518
  11. It's 5 years this weekend since the speedway world lost Lee Richardson. Gone but not forgotten.
  12. You won't get tear gassed at a speedway meeting in the UK either unlike Poland!!
  13. Couldn't agree more TDM.I haven't been near Loomer Rd since the generator kept packing up,awaiting an ambulance to arrive, and Jason Bunyan doing a lap in complete darkness, but tonight was very enjoyable indeed.
  14. Another factor you forgot to mention was whether they were able to board a train at Rugby without buying a ticket in an attempt to fare dodge!!
  15. I've used AB Everest on a few occasions from Modlin Airport to Warszawa Centrum and they're highly recommended.
  16. A fitting tribute womble 53. Like yourself I became really good friends with Mr Wallace on my trips to Armadale when the Brummies rode there on the Northern Tour.A very kind, warm hearted fellow, who made you feel so welcome in his home City of Edinburgh.Despite having Monarch riders residing with him, there was always the offer of accomodation,a trip to the tourist sights in Scotlands Capital City,a bowl of home-made soup, and a visit to the prize winning haggis suppliers. It was the highlight of the speedway season for myself!! I'd also make the trip up to visit him outside of the speedway season when the 6 Nations Rugby was held in Edinburgh.Remember well introducing my partner to him, when we took him for a meal locally, and he insisted on paying the bill!! I'll never forget that night at Perry Barr when Mr Wallace and the gang wore dreadlock wigs for the PL Trophy Final in 2008.One of the most hilarious sights I've ever seen at a speedway track!! I knew that the last few years had been very difficult for himself, his family and his close speedway friends(namely Midnight Lady,Davy H and Dekker).I'll never forget the call I had from Mr Wallaces' relative telling myself what had happened to him and things would never be the same again! God Bless you Dennis, you really were a gentleman, and will be sadly missed by all who knew you.Farewell my friend.
  17. Alan Phillips is a twit!!

  18. And I'm staying at the Radisson Blu Sobieski again. Can recommend this hotel highly.
  19. Moved from a winter season to a summer season, improved the standard of facilities at many grounds/stadiums and have a Magic Weekend at a chosen venue when all Super League teams participate on a Saturday and Sunday in May.
  20. No fb,no Paulco.I missed you both massively!! I only go to Sheffield because of the respect I have for supporters who travel from all over the UK to attend this meeting!!It's a great day out catching up with folk you haven't see in a while!! Who needs a fare dodging tw@t to tell how good a meeting is or isn't!!
  21. Hence the reason I stayed in the New Barrack Tavern across the road with brilliant company and saved myself £20!!!
