  1. Disappointing meeting, many people there but not much atmosphere unfortunately. Cookie should have taken gate 1 in the final...
  2. Well I like marmite and I like Garrity, good luck on Sunday Jason
  3. Totally enjoyed the meetings even though we were totally covered in shale in our stand, which was hilarious! Thought the MDLRC was the better meeting once the track had dried out, well done Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, you are a star in the making
  4. My head is hurting with all this........... One thing for sure is that me tooters won't be ready until I know for sure...
  5. Honestly, I wasn't at this meeting but to say that Cook is a wind up merchant or immature is too much....he is an experienced rider and for him to make these claims then it should be heard! If Berwick are in trouble then maybe they should listen to the ones "at the top".
  6. Paco Castagna ‏@PacoCastagna411 15m15 minutes ago Must be happy with my 5+2 at berwick tonite, first time there and surely not the best of tracks to ride!!! And good win for the team!
  7. You must support your team, never mind the result... I'm sure Somerset will come back stronger....
  8. Well I think he is a fantastic rider, he's enthusiastic but gets a bit too over excited at times which unfortunately leads to a racing incident. Thought it very funny last night when him and Josh were doing their "goon" racing after a 5-1 and the ref had to put the red lights on...
  9. He's not done many laps round Sheffield and you say that? Give the lad a chance....
  10. We, from Sheffield, would be able to go the Scunny if it was on a Sunday! Friday nights are a no go with the traffic as we can't get there in time for the start unless we leave early from work. Used love going on Sundays to watch the conference team.
  11. Such a sad advert for British Speedway...
  12. S**t happens I'm afraid, we all know that being Sheffield supporters... It's not what you know but who you know....
  13. To me, was a bit of a pointless match for Sheffield which is a reason that we didn't bother going. Sounds that the track was tricky even for the Newcastle riders. Sheffield turned up with 2 of their original team yet still got a point...
  14. Hope common sense prevails on this situation but, hey ho it is British Speedway, so probably not!
  15. Maybe Bjerre could have been injured having been knocked off from his bike? Just sayin...
  16. Dave Bereford's piece in tonight's program sums it up a treat! Live and learn and keep an eye on your enemies...
  17. Great that David Bellego will be back in the team for the next home meeting which is in June So we will be a 6 man team with an appropriate guest as Simon has said it is unlikely that he will be back this year ..
  18. Shambles..... and that is why I am considering abandoning this once great sport of ours after supporting for 30 odd years... yes Ty could be taking up the post of a British rider but he was exciting to watch and never gave up in a race... some young Sheffield supporters now denied to see their favourite rider......... who has lost here? the borders agency or British Speedway? Also, would be interesting to know what the criteria is in the British Superbike Championship cause there are Foreign, Aus/USA riders there?
  19. Feel so sorry for Ty, I think sometimes common sense should prevail......... but this is speedway so that will never happen, too many fingers in the pie.
