Tom Sykes is on the verge of becoming World Superbike champion and comes from Huddersfield. Will be interesting to see if the BBC pick up on him if he wins that championship. Also, Sam Lowes has just become World Supersport champion and comes from Lincoln. He was interviewed by Chris Evans on Monday but not heard anything more about him, certainly not on the TV.

Would be fantastic to get rid of the stock cars.... would Rugby being at Owlerton affect the speedway though? Would Rugby run on Sundays... if speedway need to have an air fence, would they need to run on Sundays? So many questions yet little answers from the powers that be...

This is a genuine question that we need accurate answers for..... Air fences need to be installed correctly so that riders don't go underneath it, even if the bike hits it first, as has happened in some cases, but then a rider could bounce off it and then a rider behind run into him?

It's the rest of the team I was referring to! Good riders which I would have thought would have been expensive to sign! Personally, I would have kept your original reserve riders as they have helped to get you into the play-offs. Anyway, good luck!

Surely a rider is gonna take a guest booking, cause at the end of the day the more rides, the more money coming in! As for cheque book speedway well I hope it was worth it and you win the league....

Sheffield have announced that Simon Lambert has now joined us! Winning at all costs is what is ruining this sport, feel sorry for Stefan, another rider I wouldn't mind in my team. Cheque book speedway must be ruled out before it destroys this sport...

Garrity definitely had a ride, only a couple of laps though, OK at pulling wheelies...

Can't help thinking that there's no point now in signing new riders, we have two home meetings left and three away. We missed the boat a long time ago, should have signed a new number one as soon as it was obvious Simon wouldn't be returning this season!
