If it was another team but Poole everyone would say it was a great idea and good to keep a long running event going!

Professional sport is competitive, people hate winners hence the hatred of Poole. Why not just be happy that there is the opportunity of seeing Speedway well before the season starts? Surely other teams promoters could sort other meetings across the country? Surely better a meting at Poole than no meeting at all? Plus if you don't like it don't go, enough people will so Matt Ford won't be bothered. The meeting is primarily aimed at Poole fans, and most are happy so Matt Ford is happy. Fans of other clubs should ask why their promotion aren't so ambitious and seem willing to settle for the norm.

Without the airfence Rob Smith would have been in a lot more trouble. Jerran Hart was leading near the end of the race and out the blue fell in the middle of the track 1/2 bend. Smith was coming up behind him and managed to avoid hitting him only to plough into the airfence a full power. Very, very nasty crash.

It ended after 3 heats following an awful crash in which Rob Smith seemed to come off quite badly.

Yeah the Pole looked good, what average could he come in on next year? Sadly an awful crash in the academy meeting afterwards which was a bad way to end.

Im going to Prague at the beginning of June for a few days, just wondered if there is likely to be any league speedway on there? Anybody know what teams/fixtures are based there and when? Thanks

I've got my ticket and am looking forward to it. If you don't want to pay the money for a top event then don't. But don't moan about it...
