Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024
Tim G replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I did read somewhere that Virgin were giving free TNT Sports to some customers in contract as compensation for the loss of the Eurosport channels. -
They do, through NOW.
-
Good solid team he is riding for, will do well to beat his team mate though.
-
I think Marquez should be relatively safer this season as he will be on the best bike on the grid which he hasn’t had for about 5 years so hopefully he won’t override. Unfortunately I think Acosta could struggle as I doubt KTM will be spending much money on upgrades as they are in big financial trouble. I see the auditor has said they will be pulling out of all the Moto GP classes which would be disastrous for Moto GP, they didn’t state when this would be.

Money would definitely come into it as he’s a professional sportsman.

Signing being announced tomorrow at 9am.

I can’t see past him or Bagnia for the title. Good news that all the sprint races are live on quest.

Vinnie Foord - is he too dangerous?

They should have reported the idiot, banter is good but that’s far too far. -

Papers are renowned for telling the truth, probably a planted story to try and get people through the door for tomorrow night’s meeting. If true which I doubt I would be disgusted an Oxford fan. -
Oxford v Poole v Oxford; Weds 25th and Fri 27th Sept

Spot on, failing to replace Atkins when I think we had 5 points to play with is what has cost Oxford in the end. -
Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

If it’s less than a year old it will probably have a web browser, it’s what I use to watch BSN. I just go to the webpage and log in and watch it from there. -

It’s always quite amazing how Poole are always weakened when using guests but the opposition are always stronger when they have guests. -
Redcar (40) vs Oxford (50) - KO Cup S/F - 6/9
Tim G replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A better team than Redcar and also scored well at Redcar last time. Too many people are looking at Heeps form from previous seasons and not this season. -
Redcar (40) vs Oxford (50) - KO Cup S/F - 6/9
Tim G replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not too sure about that one, he has had a great season and got paid 8 in the league at Redcar. RR for him got paid 8 last night. -

Heeps is having a good season so not sure Oxford are stronger without him as Killeen has to take 2 of his rides. Need him fit as they need to cover Jenkins who is a big loss. -

Was Tate still a guest for the Aces when he got injured like you said so? -

I think it's quite obvious that he has but maybe your rose tinted aces glasses mean you can't see it!! -

Considering he is riding as a heat leader and not had a spell at reserve like last season any increase on his average is impressive. Brennan has improved this year. -
Ipswich v Belle Vue August 22nd
Tim G replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It was his BV debut as part of the team not a guest. -
Poole Pirates Vs Glasgow Tigers 31/7/24

Heeps is having a great season and scoring really well. -
Floor size would be too small for a speedway track that meets FIM regulations.

He said on Sunday when being interviewed at the World Superbikes by Discovery+ that he is aiming to ride at Cardiff.

Speedway of Nations 2024
Tim G replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Fair play, I’ve never been on the back straight as the only time I was at the NSS I was in the main grandstand and that few was superb. I expect a fair few people will accept the transfer to a grandstand if offered. But it shows how wrong they got the pricing that nearly a third of tickets are unsold at one of the best racetracks in the world for a world championship event. -

We will have to disagree on that one, the temporary stand looks like it has plenty of seats available.i think if you have a back straight ticket you could be getting a nice free upgrade. I do agree about the WTC, it’s a better format. -

Terrible ticket sales but that’s what you get with the ridiculous pricing structure.
