  1. Always disappointing to see points gained by a "joker" or "tactical double" make the difference between winning and losing. Does nothing for the credibility of the sport. Jokers made sense in It's a Knockout and Jeux Sans Frontieres, every team have one. In a sporting event they're just a joke.
  2. Went home last night very very disappointed with the performance of most of the Lakeside riders in a crucial crucial match in the play off race, but massively impressed by the performances of Coventry and especially Pawlicki, Morris and Kennett, who I thought thoroughly deserved their win. Also enjoyed watching Emil, no surprise that he hasn't mastered Arena, yet.... Still massively impressed by Pawlicki and Nick Morris, regardless of Heat 12 he still rode the track better than most of our team. Really really disappointed with Kennett though. There was I saying last night that "this is the best I'd seen him ride here"! He needs to be punished, if only to set an example and discourage others that may be tempted. Hope there's a future for him in Britain. I have to say that I was wondering how Coventry would respond, and massive massive credit to them for their statement, particularly for their comments on the examiners, and the fans of both clubs, and credit for the action they've already taken. Have to say the Bees management has gone up in my estimation considerably.
  3. Nich00001ls was very fortunate to be in this year's GPs in the first place. He's only there because of the lack of competitive British riders. Has anyone ridden in so many GPs without winning and reached so few finals? He should give it till after Cardiff, and then if he's not competing, call it a day. He's still a decent league rider.
  4. You can't please everyone but for me last night was not perfect (what is in Speedway?) but definitely the best music/presentation I've heard at Cardiff. A good variety, usually relevant, something for all ages. Those who want only modern stuff should look at the crowd around them, most of us wouldn't recognise anything if you did what they want.
