  1. I would imagine plenty of elite clubs will be sniffing round him he'll be the bargain average rider what clubs die for
  2. well panthers got a gating lesson today ,if they had there gating gloves on it would have been a comfy win
  3. can't see anything but a panthers win at home , simon lambert looked has looked backed to full fitness the last couple of matches , barker wont roll over and let the likes of cookie & co turn him over .Thomsen is top class (he has a cracked bone not broken ) so should be alright , result will boil down as to whether tungate gates and knopka stays on his bike as to how many panthers win by
  4. can't moan at that for the home leg , he's quality round the showground . had to feel for barker the other day he looked well down in the dumps with his e/f in heat 13 ,we'd best hope he's got some more rocket launchers , 1 thing with barker his experience and willingness in big matches will be a massive plus for the team
  5. roll on next week when we see thomsen take on cookie and co , surely thomsen will end up at poole next season on a bargain average
  6. why ??? surely we'd be stupid to even contemplate going elite
  7. ged has commented that the crowds are hovering around the 1000 mark , in that case we're better off where we are
  8. he can't d-up the current rules don't allow it doubt he'll ride sundays , polands his big money earner + he's not a fan of tetley
  9. just can't see him riding premier , he'll end up in the elite with a big club if he rides in england
  10. garrity & co were giving it large in the 1st 3 heats , Sheffield looked well up for it and got the crowd going but they simply didn't have any answers when panthers gated
  11. panthers have to follow the rulings of the bspa whether we like it or not , no doubt about its not in the best interests of the sport (esp panthers) but when have the bspa been worried about the best interests of the sport , can't see how panthers can have facilities for grondal and thomsen when they don't ride till Saturday unless the Danish authorities have a agreement with the bspa regarding fim events
  12. the big problem is do panthers get facilitys for the missing riders ,
  13. trying to replace grondal and thomsen will be nigh on impossible with riders with the same ability , but if there forced to ride fixture Richard Hall , Jonas Andersen look the most obvious replacments
  14. M.P.T is the worse has been pants for weeks (I went after heat 13) so never seen 14 , for all the effort ged and co and put in some riders should be ashamed of themselves esp our captain , barker wasn't impressed with his heat 13 exploits either , we keep hearing about team spirit , we look like a team that's going thro the motions (on track) look at the likes of wright and starke (very impressive ) who looked liked they'd been riding the track for years and were enjoying it
  15. the winning times suggest there was nothing up with the track (it was grippy) ,zummerset had no problem with it panthers were so poor out the gate it beggars belief
  16. that has to go down as 1 of the worst performances I've seen on track from panthers , poor from the gate poor everywhere ,as barker said on the mic if they ride like that they'll be going nowhere ,
  17. 7 100% fit riders and they'd have a chance of beating anybody , Grondal could/ should be a big success at reserve , M.P.T is capable of beating anybody when on song (don't know why hes so slow at the min) but if ostergaard and lambert aren't fit come play off time I agree we'll struggle to beat anybody
  18. should be fingernail stuff , lets hope both matches are well attended , ged and co have dragged the club out the gutter and deserve some success
  19. with the showground being 1 of the worse tracks in the country for drainage ,dean and co will have to wave more than the magic wand to get this on
  20. I just don't think theres any need whatsoever to press the panic button staying safe is the best option , if panthers lose Monday the panic button needs to be pressed esp with the scunny match not being rearranged yet
  21. not seen oystercard race since the injury , no way is lambert 100% fit but you can't fault the lad , grondal looks like he'll be at reserve for play offs which will deffo be huge bonus
  22. don't know what the panic is if panthers finish 4th or 5th they'll end up facing Sheffield , lets face it they'd rather face Sheffield than either Ipswich or Plymouth , don't think any team will fancy taking on Plymouth they look super strong , just plod along to the play offs now the top 2 is unlikely , its the best policy , no risks
  23. rye always declare way under the points limit so no need to fiddle anything
