Official was spot on. Perks hit some grip and careered into Shuttleworth who completely over reacted by punching Perks. Perks defended himself (like any of us would have). They were both rightly excluded and Shuttleworth rightly thrown out of meeting. Personally I don't think there should be any further punishment as Shuttleworth has already cost his team a trophy. As they were walking back to pits someone in crowd said something and either Perks or Wood jumped over barrier to confront but no more than that. We'll done to Rye House, Eastbourne obviously a tad unlucky with Ellis' engine failure on the start line. Decent meeting with a bit of everything and referee did ok I thought.

Significantly tougher match for the Eagles now as they travel to Loomer Road without Luke Harris and Charley Powell who have grasstrack commitments. Guest reserves are Jordan Jenkins and Nathan Stoneman. R/R for number 2 does not help either. The top 4 are going to have weigh in with serious points.
