Pillock. (And I don't support Coventry)

Obtaining a programme is hardly a deal-breaker though is it? It's a useful thing to have but it would never stop me going.

Luke Harris confirmed as final rider.

Like the new signing with obvious risks attached, however could quite easily be the biggest improver on the team, if not the league. At this early stage I like Mildenhall's and Cradley's teams along with a very solid looking Eagles. Brum could be top heavy but hard to beat in latter part of meetings. Isle of Wight not bad either, Lakeside potentially very top heavy. The rest not too sure about. All in all, the National League looks in rude health and set for another good season. Season's greetings to all.

Think you'll find it is, Redfaceman.

It's 'Somebody's ' Btw. 😀

Ultimately this is a forum, nothing more, nothing less. It really doesn't matter that much in the general scheme of things, so if people think they are being 'bullied' and 'lives being made a misery' then I would suggest their problems are somewhat deeper than the gold old BSF. If you get a bit of clog from some of the fine readership on here than give some back to them or ignore them. Simples. I occasionally have an exchange with everyone's favourite right wing japester Speedibee but I have yet to cry myself to sleep about it. Ultimately the BSF is a decent place to while a way a bit of time and catch up with the Speedway happenings. I'm an Eastbourne man and our crowd is anywhere between 400-800 i'd guess. There's probably no more than about 20 Eastbourne posters on here so I doubt the Dugards will lose too much sleep if I declare that we should boycott the burger van. The BSF - A fine place with some fine people but don't take it too seriously.

Not sure where or when I saw it but heard it was something financial.

Eastbourne ride on Saturdays so a non-starter I'm afraid. -
And how is your masterplan to be financed? Speedway promoters aren't rich.
-
Not sure what people are going on about regarding weaker reserves. If you take a closer look then most teams are running two reserves that were active in the National League last year. Being an Eastbourne fan i'm familiar with those riders and Perks was excellent.

If it ain't broke don't fix it imo. The NL is arguably the one league in reasonable shape so happy to continue like it is thanks.

Broken biscuits please
-
Poundland cakes please. Cut your cloth accordingly.

I would be surprised if Mattie Bates and Richard Andrews weren't involved if Plymouth do emerge in the National League.
-
Glad he's got a place, was excellent for my team, Eastbourne last season. Good attitude too, think he'll do well.

It's not as simple as that. Easy to say,not easy to do. In my opinion the AGM was a realistic and positive exercise, yes Poole potentially did get the rough end of it but for the greater good.

December 7th, year tbc

Agree. Happy to stay where we are. The club's sustainable and competitive and we'e already got more intense rivalries than we had in the Elite League. Roll on 2017. BTW, when is the National League AGM?
-
You're way off kilter. Where did you get those salaries from?
-
From the joys of trying to get to Lakeside on a Friday night to the joys of battling the M5 on a Friday night 😀

Without confirmation, I'd guess the following will be in the NL : Birmingham, Cradley, Eastbourne, Kent, Lakeside, Mildenhall, Isle of Wight, Buxton, Stoke and possibly Plymouth . The question mark is over the '2nd' teams,e.g Belle Vue, Coventry, King's Lynn and Rye House. Third tier is in pretty good health and some decent rivalries emerging. Bring it on.

Thought the same when Eastbourne moved down but I love it, it's a proper community club now with a younger fanbase. We've built up some proper rivalries already with the likes of Cradley, Brummies and Kent. Give it a go, i'm sure you'll be pleasently suprised.
