Yes, normally i'd have predicted at least one out of two away victories this weekend, however Stoke and Buxton both look decidedly stronger than usual.
Not wanting to appear negative so apologies for any confusion. Just went by BBC and Met office one, mainly aimed at the away contingent due to it being a fair old trek.
Hope it's all ok and some great racing.
Weather forecasts still say rain from 6pm in Birmingham with no obvious let up. Shame as plenty from Eastbourne won't go now, as even if meeting starts, i'd be surprised if they get through it. Hope i'm wrong though.
Surely the attendances were poor for the Storm as Coventry already were running an Elite team? If it's a stand alone team i'd guess support would be quite reasonable. Some good looking fixtures like Cradley, Birmingham, Eastbourne etc..
With respect, the Rockets weren't awful, 6 down after 11 heats. The difference was actually at reserve. Baseby was never going to trouble the scorers and Heeps was very quick.
Still early in season so no need to panic and Mildenhall one of the top 3 teams in the League. Better to be strong at the end of the season with Playoffs than the start.
Dugards are well connected and not shy of making changes where necessary, Eagles will be competitive come the business end of the season.
